Two-Sentence Horror Stories

my favorite is

"The last man on Earth sat alone in a room. There was a knock on the door..."

Even better...

"The last man on Earth sat alone in a room. There was a lock on the door."

Also, I actually don't get the last story.
My sister says that mommy killed her. Mommy says that I don't have a sister.

Someone explain it to me. xD Did mommy kill her sister and denying it? So she's talking to her ghost sister? Or did mommy not kill anyone and that her child is insane?

I'm so confused that I can't find it creepy or scary at all. ; w;

That's the point, it's deliberately ambiguous. Or actually, both are true.

I found this one:

I woke up to hear knocking on glass. At first, I thought it was the window until I heard it come from the mirror again.

Ahhh. Then I missed out on the creepy feeling by being unnecessarily confused. Darn.

Not sure if this was post yet but:

"I never go to sleep.
But I keep waking up."

Maybe I should just retitle this thread "Personal first-world horror stories".

I heard my dog growling really loudly. I went to check downstairs and realized, I don't have a dog.

An old, lonely woman rocked back and forth on her porch. It didn't take too long for her body to be found.

ok that ones just sad uh

I hated eating poor, innocent animals. So I replaced them with guilty ones.

Oh gosh, the first and the last one scared me stiff. >.<'

I found a few:

The last man on Earth was sitting in his house.

Then there was a knock on the door.

Congratulations! You are now the President of the United States.

You get home, tired after a long day's work and ready for a relaxing night alone. You reach for the light switch, but another hand is already there.

I just saw my reflection blink.

I checked the cupboard to find the Nutella jar... Empty.

These are just a few random ones which I thought were good or okay.
