More time for treasure hunts!

This is probably old news since the the update has been out so long, but I just got my first treasure hunt since the update. And my time limit was 6 minutes! So it looks like they changed the time limit from 3 min. (Of course I found the treasure in 30 seconds for the first time in my life so I didn't even need the extra time -.- )

I'm so glad Nintendo is listening to player feedback and making adjustments to the game accordingly. I love this game

When I got my first six minute treasure hunt, I figured it must be really hard to find. Ran around my entire island. It was like eight steps behind where I started

That is good to know. It took me a while to finally win one because i make the mistake of playing it before digging up all my fossils.

For some strange reasons, villagers tend to give me 3 or 6 minutes to find the treasure still, but it’s mostly 6 minutes.

I got one from Diana and she said something to the effects of, let's make it a little more difficult this time and the limit was 3minutes. Despite that I was able to find it!

Then today Kid Cat gave me a treasure hunt and it was 6minutes. And I could not find it. He had asked before I did my fossil dig for the day, but so had Diana... when I found it finally, it was on the very edge of a riverbank, hidden by a tree. Y u do this to me, my boy.

They've given me a three minute timer even after asking to hear the rules before, so sometimes they just decide to give us a harder one, I guess.

3 minute treasure hunts are still in the game. The times just vary.

I believe it's random between like 3 to 6 minutes, I've had a 3 minute one very recently.

There's two difficulties that's randomly decided, and you get a better reward (and a chance to get a photo) with the harder difficulty.

I think when the game first came out, it was 3 minutes for the standard treasure hunt, and 2 minutes for the hard one. Now it looks like 6 minutes for standard and 3 minutes for hard.

wow I had no clue it was rare, ive had two so far. Tia and Whitney both gave me 6 minutes!
