Yes, but it’s very lightly?
I generally stay on the same day it is, but might forward or backward a couple hours. I have a part time job and college classes. Sometimes the only time I can play is at night and it gets frustrating only seeing your island in a dark blanket. I also tend to be busy on holidays; for thanksgiving I played the event a couple days prior to the actual holiday, that way I can still participate and get items.

In the past I’ve noticed time traveling too much numbs parts of the game, which I don’t enjoy. You start to feel less receptive to the little details and joys of the game

I don't anymore but did when I was younger in New Leaf. Mainly to go to the island late at night to catch sharks and beetles, but I think there were probably a few times I got impatient and just wanted a PWP or something to be built.

To me, it breaks the immersion and slow pace of animal crossing so doubt I ever will again.

I used to, especially when I was still working on landscaping my town. But now I don't. I love not time traveling and slowing down a little bit, but every once in a while I get the urge to just go forward a day for a little bit (and then go back).

While I was playing the game regularly, I never would since I wanted to keep my game in-sync with real time. While it did mean it took a lot longer to get some achievements, items, or bugs/fish/sea creatures, I definitely would've burned out of the game a lot quicker and not played it as much as I did if I had ended up time traveling!

That said, if I have to get several items for any friends, I don't mind time traveling just to speed up that process so they don't have to wait on me for days on end, but that's basically the only exception.

Mainly when I have reset I would use time travel a lot and used it to get all emotions, to catch all bug, fishes and sea creatures and whatever else but once that's done, I rarely use it unless I need an orderable item right away.

im gonna be real here, i do it all the time. i don't have any real reason, i just like to cheat at most games i play. if there is a way to cheat at any game, i have most definitely done it lol.

Time traveling is fine. It has been with us for decades. I have no issues with it.

However, I don't personally never do it on my island though. But that's more of like my preference.

I do because I usually only play late at night, so I TT earlier in the day. So like if I'm playing at 11pm or something, I sometimes go back to 11AM.

Right now I'm wishing I had my game set to spring or summer. Winter, especially in a new town, is so uninspiring. As for generally time traveling, you betcha! In my last town that was how I'd get new villagers fairly frequently with the camp site. I had my keepers but I'd usually be working on getting pictures from three or four of the others so when I wanted them gone I'd start TTing forward until I got a camper I wanted then have said camper replace one of them, then repeat it until I had a new set. I also have to set my clock at off times because of my schedule. A lot of stuff can't be caught until after 9 p.m. and that's too late for me to do that so I adjust time accordingly.

I have never time-traveled because I'm too lazy to deal with all the hassle that comes with it, for example weeds. *shudders
I have also never reset my island, because I'm too attached to it. But I don't see time-traveling as cheating either, since everyone is free to enjoy the game however they want to.

I time travel for the sake of major renovations.
If im moving 10 houses and building 5 bridges im skipping it. I don't want to spent weeks in a construction site.
Otherwise no to time travel.

im gonna be real here, i do it all the time. i don't have any real reason, i just like to cheat at most games i play. if there is a way to cheat at any game, i have most definitely done it lol.

Eyyy trickster dirk.
Love to see it.

I don't mind time-travelling, but I only ever travel one day at a time, and I try to sync it back as soon as possible. I usually use time-travelling for either villager hunting on mystery islands (if I don't have enough time to get it done in one real day) or if I want to order items for someone.

Yes, but only forwards really. When I'm actively playing the game, I keep track on which date I'm on, so if I don't have time to play one day I have a "bonus" day if that makes sense. Occasionally I'll change the time if I can only play late or early, but, usually I keep the time of day the same as my irl time. I'm not really consistent with it though, I do what makes me enjoy the game the most.

I was TTing a lot more on my first island, but that mostly just taught me that if I TT all the time I get really burned out from the game, so better for me to play it somewhat in sync with the real time.

I used to do that a lot but more recently, I have found it more enjoyable to play the game in real-time.

I thought I'd TT a lot more getting my new town set up but so far beyond the initial first few days I haven't. When I started I set the date about ten days earlier than real time, TTed some to start, then when I needed to start making money for infrastructure and mortgages that was put on hold, and my system is still two days behind real time. Now I'm down to putting in another bridge or two and moving some villager houses so I may TT through that.

Yes nonstop 100% every time I play I time travel at least twice tbh lol. If I’m playing at night and I wanna see day, then it’s 12 pm. If I’m tired of snow, it’s April. Maybe in 20 minutes it’s January again tho. When I was 7 in City Folk you bet I was changing that Wii menu time to get 99,999 bells in interest! I was more cautious of it in New Leaf when I had favorites I was scared of moving out but generally speaking I never cared that much

yeah i’ll TT for building or for moving villagers out. now that i’ve done all my bridges, inclines, and general big picture terraform building, as well as gotten my villagers to a place i like, i haven’t been TTing since. i will say it’s been more fun not to TT these days but i’m also glad i did so to get my villagers and building done first! i’m sure i’ll TT again in the future when i want to, haha.
