nothing beats fresh pickled spider juice in the morning! just as good as my usual coffee! (funnily enough didn't have food colouring so had to use coffee drops so just as nice for real)

Not sure if this even counts but it's a cardboard cutout that's holding itself up through size and sheer determination
I tried putting some "proof" pics in the spoiler here that the liquid's actually colored and the cardboard isn't glued to the glass or anything

I came across a group of Rafflesia flowers on my latest expedition to The Woods. I nearly fainted, but managed to take a piece. Legend goes it gives those who dare to eat it supernatural powers. If you can stomach it, that is! It tastes the way it smells  Definitely a necessary addition to the Bell Tree Manor specimen collection.

Alas, by the time I found my way back home from the Slumbering Wealth, you were already gone. Forgive me Roselia Carnelia... My heart breaks at the thought of you wilting away as you wait for my return. And so, I’ve placed you in your favourite jar to preserve you forever. I remember I would wake up to a fresh carnation, carefully grown from your arms every morning, as to wish me a good morning.

Side note: I had not done my preserve properly... I woke up the next day to your bloated and decomposing body.

In order to keep this cat zombie contained, it needs to be fed a balanced diet of brainssss

I failed to take into consideration that the brain was made of foam and it floats... I had a hard time keeping it down 😭

Hi both! Unfortunately we're looking for a distinct specimen for these entries, rather than a sort of paste/liquid/goo that fill the entire jar. I'll have to ask both of you to resubmit!

These two entries are using liquids that do not appear to be coloured. Can you two fix this and resubmit? Thanks!

Every entry up to this point should be accepted unless we specifically asked for a resubmission!
Whew. If it looks like your entry got skipped somehow, do let us know.
Would this work? O:

Edit: A rare tiny ghost specimen you can slightly see through this green substance.

This could work! I'd like to ask you to provide a fitting description for your entry though, to make it clear what it's supposed to be. Feel free to edit it into your post above. 👍

So, while trolling through the lab, I came across an entire set of shelves dedicated to something or someplace called Yu’eyy. I'm not sure if this is another planet, but that's the assumption I'm rolling on. From what I read in their files, they were trying to clone the aliens that lived there, but kept being met with failure. The only success they had ever had was one they called Yag'ee? And they keep him (?) in another facility.

Every jar I've looked at here has had different names (I think) left on documents nearby. One of the failed clones in particular caught my interest. His (?) name is.. err was
Eeh’zKu . Part of has my interest though is that it mentions in his description that they plan on attempting another clone including DNA from the previously successful Yag'ee. I have to come back and see if it worked.

Who knows, maybe next time I'll fine Eeh’zKu live and well and not his failed clone in a jar? If I do, the little extraterrestrial will be coming home with me.
I'll make sure he (?) stays safe!

Until next time! I'll provide more updates on the lab, the jars, and Yu'eyy!! And especially Eeh’zKu

As I walked though the laboratory I felt as though someone was watching me. Little did I know it was something...
The Manual of Witchcraft and Alchemy to be exact. Could this mean the Sanderson sisters will make their return?

Upon stumbling into the laboratory, I came across numerous suspicious jars and cages. I stopped to catch my breath, and came face to face with a jar labeled “electric eels”… I need to get out of here!

A mutated specimen sealed inside this jar for who knows what. This particular subject has been experimented so many times that there have been rumors that it has often changed their color on its own. That's kind of spooky... What color it would be the next time it is seen...?
