I used to have a digital watch in highschool but now I have a Fitbit (that I truly need to start wearing again). I find that if I need to know the time, I just check my phone.
I don't own any and I don't typically wear accessories in the first place! I don't even have a clock in my room so all I can do is rely on my computer and phone...
I love love love love love my watch!! When I first started working in childcare at 18 years old I started wearing watches. Knowing the time is really important with my job (signing kids in, signing kids out, knowing what time it is when something occurred for reports, knowing when to start transitions, etc) and I don't always have my phone on me or am close to a clock.
Last Christmas I got myself a little fitbit and I really enjoy it. I like seeing how many steps I take in a day and I appreciate that it syncs up with the time changes for me.
I wear a traditional watch most days; there's something about the style and craftsmanship that just feels special. I also have a rolex sky dweller clone that I love to wear for more formal occasions. It gives me that classic vibe without breaking the bank.
For casual days, I switch it up with a fitness tracker. It helps keep me on top of my steps and workouts, but I still appreciate the look of a nice watch. I think it all comes down to what fits your lifestyle. Some days, I want that sleek, sophisticated look, and other days, I just need something practical.
I used to wear a wristwatch and bought a new one every year. I stopped wearing them when I started to get a rash from the band and moisture getting underneath it. Now I use my phone as a watch and would love to have an Apple Watch but it is so expensive and I’d only be using it for the watch feature.
I own one but never wear it. I took it to school since we weren’t allowed to get our phones out, but I was too self conscious to actually wear the watch so I kept it in my pocket nowadays I just use my phone, but I guess if I was travelling alone and wanted to conserve phone battery or something, I would wear my watch. If it still works
My parents kept buying me watches as a kid and later fitbits once those released, but I never kept them on for more than a few weeks. I don't like the feeling of objects wrapped around my wrist and they always started to smell funky after a while. Now that I have a smartphone I carry everywhere that gives me the time and tracks my steps I have no real reason to get a watch.
I don't currently use any wristwatches, but I've long thought that a pocket watch would be really cool to own and use since I just think they're neat. Maybe someday.
No, I don't own any anymore apart from potentially a very basic one in a drawer somewhere. Regardless, I don't wear one as I feel like it'd distract me quite a bit and I couldn't get used to it. I've considered a fitness tracker of sorts but I am quite clumsy so I might damage it!
Yes! I collect timepieces/watches and have a pretty sizable collection, including a few gorgeous vintage pieces. I love coordinating them with my clothing and other accessories and always feel more confident when I'm wearing a pretty watch, as silly as that probably is.
I also have an Apple watch that I use when I work out and it's awesome for fitness tracking. I thought the concept was so stupid at first but I'm glad I got over my aversion and gave it a try.
I used to wear a digital one daily for a long time. I had ones officially marketed as “sports” watches cuz they could get wet and be okay. Had a pink one for a pretty long time in like middle school, then a blue and green one for an even longer time from like high school into college, but then I got wrist tattoos that I wanted to be able to show off and stopped wearing the watch, that was over 7 years ago and now I’m so out of the habit I think it would feel weird to go back.
I own one, but I don't wear it anymore. I don't know why I stopped wearing it. I think it was Sonic themed, or something? I don't know where it is now.
I own and have just got out of the habit of wearing one since I take my phone everywhere. I have a beautiful watch that I got for my 21st birthday which I should wear more often.
No, I don't. I don't like the feeling of bulky items around my wrist. And as an adult, I feel like I'm already waayyyyy too aware of the time as it is.
I used to wear a watch for a couple of years in elementary school. I had a lizard watch that I loved, with a soft stretchy band and two little yellow and orange lizards that slowly moved around the clock face along with the hands of the clock.
When I was 8 or 9, I was swimming at a friend's pool and lost my flotation device, went under, and almost drowned. (I was a very late bloomer when it came to swimming.) An adult had to drag me out, which was pretty embarrassing at the time, but even worse, they accidentally kicked my lizard watch into the pool in the process. That was the end of watch-wearing for me!
No, I don't own or wear any. A couple of my favorite brands have made cute ones in the past that I've saved in my shopping carts, but I've not bought any! Not too much of a jewelry person.
i have an apple watch as a gift but after the novelty wore off, i don't really wear it anymore. i have a job where i'm allowed to have my phone nearby so it doesn't make much sense to use my apple watch. i'm also not much of an accessories person so i don't typically wear watches as an accessory either. some of them do look nice tho and i can definitely see the appeal.
