    ace attorney is my special interest so I'm always so excited to see other people play it omg :33
    the first game is so good!! turnabout goodbyes is. i think it made me cry the first time i played it-
    what are your thoughts on the first game, i'm kinda curious :3

    It was really good! Really the only cases in the game i felt like fell a tad short was turnabout samurai and the bonus case after turnabout goodbyes, however it mostly just came down to them being unnecessarily long compared to the others, but they we both fairly enjoyable.

    ugh yeah rise from the ashes is one of the least liked cases in the fandom because of how long it is, turnabout samurai at least is Sillier which makes it a bit more entertaining, although RFTA does have jake marshall which is a plus to me lol

    ngl coming back after being inactive for months and seeing the website becoming more dead then it already was after the "incident" brought a lot of the staff's issues to light really makes me think about if coming back was really a good idea

    Also, various comments with homophobic undertones/straight up homophobia were made, saying it was valid that someone brought up the fact that if the rule about sexual content was made more strict, LGBTQ+ topics couldn't be discussed so it's a bad idea, and this was defended by the staff post, saying along the lines of if the rules were tightened, then it's fair to think that LGBTQ+ topics would fall under the ban and therefore be disallowed. But then immediately proceeds to say that LGBTQ+ topics would never be banned, making the point instantly moot. At least that's what I got from the whole thing, and that's just the surface

    to respond to the first thing you mentioned, the minimum age requirement for the website is 13 if i remember, and the forum is specifically about a nintendo game series who's games haven't received an age rating higher then an E for everyone, just because the majority of the website is over 18 does not mean people shouldn't be mindful of the content they are posting.

    and to respond to the second comment, jesus that's one hell of a yikes. are these people still in the 90s?? why would any LGBTQ+ topics automatically be labelled NSFW??

    Yeah... It's pretty disheartening to read that as the response members have been waiting possibly weeks? for. Like the age thing he spoke about in his post lowkey reminded someone of the people who defended their groomer, and they said as much. And I can't disagree as I have friends who've been dismissed by other adults for similar reasons/in similar ways.

    And yeah it's honestly insane to me that anyone would even consider them one and the same, but the point was doubled-down

    Kinda go through phases every couple years but some of the channels I watch frequently right now are Cartoonshi, LS Mark, Uwos Lab, Beta64, Caddicarus, ChrisShwafer, Hunter R., mark haha, Shane McGillicuddy, Saltydkdan, Odyessy Central, SiIvaGunner, JoelyMoley, David Achu, Domics (when he uploads every 5000 years), Jaiden Animations, and a few others I forgot to mention.

    There's a couple of other people who I like but who've stopped uploading entirely and once a year I just kinda go through a short week-long phase of rewatching their old content like SpaceHamster.

    Yes, combination of both losing interest in Animal Crossing and wanting to put my focus on my Newgrounds made me decide to leave here, I don't want to say it's going to be permanent or anything cause there is a chance I could come back but I am just going to be inactive for a long time.
