I wear glasses. I don't think I could wear contacts even if I wanted to because my prescription is so strong, idk. But I am not a fan of sticking my fingers in my eyes.
I do apply for free LASIK surgery by insurance because I am legally blind without my glasses, but I would still have to wear glasses afterwards because they can only fix my eyes so much, so I never bothered doing LASIK since I'd still have to wear glasses anyway.
My glasses are always a thick frame so they can hold my lenses ok.

I have glasses but I don't wear them.. I think i need to go back to the optometrist and get a better eye test, because I feel like my vision is just good enough to past the tests that they have, but not good enough to see as far away as I feel like I should be if that makes sense. The glasses that I have don't make a huge difference. Ugh

I don’t need glasses. I’m the only one in my family without glasses. My eyesight has always been great. I may have gotten the recessive eye trait; my mom and dad both have blue eyes, and mine are green — which had a 1% chance of happening. I’m thankful everyday. I can only imagine how annoying glasses must be.

I've worn glasses for around 7 or 8 years? I got them in primary school, and I need them. I'm short-sighted (just my eyes, I swear I can think prudently) so I definitely need them.

I have those reactolights/ones that transition into sunglasses in the sun/whatcha-mih-call-them-lenses and they're really handy.

I was on a school trip once, and I lost my glasses swimming in the ocean one time so I couldn't cycle back to the hostel. We were delayed about half an hour as one of the supervisors had to cycle back to the hostel, get their car, drive back to pick me up. Funny thing is that the rest of the group left me on the beach alone lol, including the supervisors. It's hilarious because it was an unfamiliar area to all of us and they left a 14yo kid whose had vision problems stranded on a beach with no way to contact them (they didn't let us have phones during the trip, so my phone was back at the hostel). Fun times.

Y'know.. it's funny. I NEVER used to need glasses. I originally only needed them for reading when I was in junior high. Howeeeever, I wanted to look cool, so I wore them all the time. And then my vision progressively got worse. I cannot see a dang thing without glasses. I've tried contacts, and I do like them. Although my insurance will only cover glasses and $100 USD worth of the contacts prescription; I'd have to pay the rest out of pocket. Which.. um. I don't wanna have to pay to see, thanks, lol. xD

Yes, I always wear glasses. My mom’s legally blind without glasses/contacts, and my dad’s nearsighted, so I was bound to have crappy eyesight lol.

To be honest, I don’t see any scenario where I’d stop. I’ve had glasses since I was 5 (I think?) and when I take them off I don’t feel like me.

i do! my vision is pretty bad and i also have astigmatism. i’ve been wearing glasses for a really long time now. i went through a short trial period with contact lenses but they couldn’t get the prescription right enough for me to be able to see properly, so i quickly gave up on that. i remember not being a fan of touching my eyes with my fingers, no matter how much i washed them. i’ve been thinking about maybe saving up to get eye surgery to maybe correct my vision but i feel like wearing glasses is a part of my identity now 🤓

Yep I wear glasses, I'd say most of the time, definitely always if I go out, but if I'm at home it depends. I'm near sighted so far away stuff is blurry obviously, but at home it's not usually really an issue so I can go without wearing them.
