I'm new to the site and thought a good way for me to get to know people better is learning their faveorite character customizations options ex clothing, accessories and the stuff you can do in mirrors! My personal faveorite is the back items like backpacks or the wing things. So I always try to use those in my outfits! Post yours below!

Gutted, rotted, Gila monster, BEAST!
I like changing my character’s hair. I get bored of the same hairdo after a while, so I’ll either cut it or style it differently. I also loved visiting Harriet for this exact reason!
My favorite clothing item in the series period is the blue aloha tee. I'm not referring to the one in New Horizons with pineapples. I'm talking about the one in predecessors. Even my favorite villager, Mac, had the red aloha tee as his default shirt. His default outfit unfortunately changed in New Horizons when the aloha tee's design was changed. I preferred the floral pattern it had, like in New Leaf.

i also really love the bandages and bags! i haven't taken the bandages off of my characer since i bought them.
bags are probably one of my favorite customization additions in new horizon. i just think they're so cute.

Coming from playing New Leaf, I was SO excited for FLOWER CROWNS! I create multiple qr codes for "hats" in New Leaf that resembled flower crowns but the fact that New Horizons made it a real thing made me VERY happy

my only gripe with them is that they sort of sit on top of the head instead of around - but they're still really cute, especially on the villagers.

My favorite colors are blue and yellow, with a smattering of purple and red, and I feel like you can see that reflected in my choices. Bonus nod to my real-life olive green bomber jacket which looks virtually identical to the first item on my list.

I think my favorite is the hair, skin, and eye colors! I've dressed as a a blue fairy, with blue skin, hair and eyes, a vampire with super pale skin and red eyes, green skin and a shrek outfit, so many fun options.
While I love changing up the look in the mirror, it's recently become a bit annoying when I'm standing in front of the mirror about to change it up, and of course here comes the knock on the door, lol.

I really love the backpacks. My character must always have one. I sometimes use purses (like the novelty ones), but I usually just go with a backpack. Backpacks don't get in the way of an image on a shirt and I think I am also use to backpacks in ig characters due to playing pokemon for years.
Some of the backpacks I use most are the
Basket pack
Bear pack (brown or black)
Knitted grass pack
Mini pleather packs
Mom's pack (pine tree the most, white and cherry ones are also great)
Brown nook inc pack
Space pack (blue or green)
I also love the hair options. I actually use more than two which is nice. I normally just use a couple of hair styles in games.
My character always has the octagonal glasses. They are the glass I like the most in acnh. They obscure the face too much and they have a few colors. I like that there are glasses as an option and that I actually like them on my character.
