I care and don't care at the same time, if that makes any sense at all? I know the villager will still act the same and such but I also don't like when the villager I want doesn't have their default home. In most cases I like my villager's default home so coming in to see a bunch of random furniture doesn't sit well with me, and when it does end up being changed, I just feel more comfortable that I am the one doing it. But at the same time I also don't care about their catchphrase or their clothes, because more often than not, my villagers change clothes within a few days so that doesn't last long at all. It's mostly just a preference for people.
