UGH. This is so hard. I think my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE is Kill La Kill, because the animation is amazing, the plot is kind of weird but moderately solid, I'm in love with Mako, and the women in it kick butt! But really really close second is Neon Genesis Evangelion. It would be number one but it's persistent sexual content makes me uncomfortable. It has really amazing fight scenes, the animation is iconic, the main character is literally always in a emotional-crisis but it makes him relatable, and I'm in love with like almost all the characters. Also in NGE, the anti-religious subtext pleases me a lot. #atheism
