I was watching the VANOC press conference this morning, it was so sad

The course has been tested and was designed so the speed of the sled wouldn't go over
I believe it was 145 mph.

But accidents can still happen, and have. And it's really sad.
For now they put up a big wall where he lost control and slid off.

It's old....

Sad as it is, it's been on the news for at least a week now. Eerily, someone who lives in my neighborhood cut off his leg while figure skating at the Olympics.. I think his name was Ohno or Celski or something like that. Only once have I seen him with my own eyes in the flesh.
