your towns name and why

I named my town Escissia. It's the German name of Vaniville Town in Pok?mon X/Y. I chose it because in my opinion it sounds really nice :)

Mine is Tinker, I really wish I could change it now. It was just a quick random word that came to mind so that I could start playing the game.

Roanoke, because it was just supposed to be a temporary living arrangement until I reset my game. My 3DS friends would be like, "OMG Roanoke's gone :O!" and it'd be all historically accurate and junk :D!

Cocotate. Because it sounds like a cafe-like name and humble. hocatate + coco = cocotate `w`

My town's name is Forest, because Animal Crossing in Japan is Dōbutsu no Mori, or Animal Forest. A lot of people reference their town name after something in another video game, so I decided to reference my town's name to the series itself.
Also because it's the name of Jeff's town who has made Animal Crossing what it is to me today.

My very frist town name was "Aki" (a boring name i know ) before i lost my old 3DS:(. Now my new town name is "Mirai" named after my favorite character from Kyoutai no Kanata (Beyond the Boundary). I love my new town now because have Marshal and I ended up getting one of my old villagers back!

My town's name is Ivy Hill.

It is named after a neighborhood in Newark, New Jersey, the city I was born in. In retrospect, I'm not sure why I chose that name, since I didn't live there growing up.

Dude, I live like 30 minutes away from there! > u <

And my first town's name was Asteris, because Asterismose couldn't fit and it was my tumblr name. hehe
Asterismos is .. greek i believe for constellations c:

now my new town is called Demure because to me, it's the cutest word in existence. ; - ;

Lakeside because I was thinking of words like sky, hill and lake and putting them with ones like side and top. I thought of that and it sounded nice.

My town's name is Hanamura*. It came to mind on the spot. I didn't think too much about it.

* 'hana' means flower and 'mura' means village.

Prespise, a misspelling of Precipice to get around the profanity filter (preSPICe) and the 9-letter limit. I really like the new cliffs because I'm an ocean fisher at heart and ergo am pretty much at the shore whenever I play.

Mine will be Anmu.
In the original Animal Crossing, I typed in a capital /a/, then moved to the other side of the screen. I then moved the joystick erratically, and clicked the A Button three times, quite randomly. It turned out to be Anmu, and my town's name has stayed the same since.

Wow so many people replied to my 2nd thread!!! Let's make it to 100/more and find the reason why you chose your town's name!!!

I named mine "Pockyton", mainly because I like Pocky (and I'm only allowed 8 characters). If I had had more space, I would've named it "Pepero Plains", because it's vastly superior to Pocky.

i named mine pastel because i love pastel colors but then i realized that a loooot of people go for a pastel looking town and now i wish i could have named it something else lol.
