Town's name is Casual. It originated from Harvest Moon's game mechanic, where you're supposed to name your farm, but have very limited amount of characters to do so. I used to have long pretty names I would want to name my farm, but it wouldn't fit, and I thought about making things simpler, and wa-la~ Casual is a good name for casual gaming such as this.
P is for prosperous
A is for amazing
P is also for peaceful
A is for astonishing
Y is for yams
A is for Argentina
Yep, pretty sure that was all I needed to name my town.
For a more serious response, I thought having a food-based name would be fun. Plus the vowel sounds repeat -- meaning it's very easy to pronounce and, hopefully, a bit catchy.
My first town I named New Leaf, because I was on the train, had zero inspiration and thought "Eh, I'll just put New Leaf here". I grew to like it, but after a while I decided to reset and wanted something different. So I was on the train again and this time chose Paradise, because I decided I liked that better than New Leaf. Then I reset again and was searching for a new map, while switching between names. The map I liked best and that I finally chose was for Paradise, but it could also have been Magnolia or Magenta, as that were the other names I was using. So now it's Paradise and Paradise it'll stay.
For my cycling town, I ended up using Giudecca. It's from the anime/manga Saint Seiya (which I've always loved as a kid, though I should say I'm talking about the original version, not Omega and what not) and it's somewhat the opposite of Paradise, so I like it and it fits. Only problem is that I'm still resetting for a good map, but I'm sure I'll find one soon.
Vanistar because I got this game a few weeks after beating my Pokemon Y. Anistar City is the city with the giant sundial rock and the Psychic Gym. Psychic is one of my favorite types. I was feeling unoriginal so i just added a V in front of it!
Mine is Hogwarts for some random reason. I love Harry Potter I guess. Although looking back at my old game names from Wild World they were all things like Panem or MiddleEarth
My town names are always thought at the spot of giving my town a name, so I came up with Leafton!
I wanted to have a nice, peaceful town with a nice name that soothes it. Also Leaf = New Leaf, Animal Crossing trademark 'n stuff.
My town's name is Hollow, and it's boring and derivative and I hate it. I just filled in the first village-y word that came to mind, didn't realize I'd end up with this much time and love invested in the place lol. If I could have a do-over I'd name it something clever like Jalapeno to go with my mayor name.
My town's name is Laedon, which is the name I thought up for an overly fantastical LOTR-esque story I wrote when I was 12 haha, it just seems to have stuck as the name for my animal crossing towns.
My Towns Name Is: Eleanor after the Beatles song Eleanor Rigby Im a huge Beatles Fan, Plus I have always Loved the Name Eleanor. Plus My Town in Wild World & City Folk was also the same
