your towns name and why

My towns name is Mystic

I just wanted a town name that sounded like a fairy tale name because i plan on basing my
town around fantasy stuff c:

My town's name is Ivy Hill.

It is named after a neighborhood in Newark, New Jersey, the city I was born in. In retrospect, I'm not sure why I chose that name, since I didn't live there growing up.

Well.. I named my Town Town. Honestly, I just couldn't think of anything at the time and I really wanted to play. I like it though, and I haven't seen anyone with the same name yet, so there's that.

But after deciding on this name I found out I had almost clash name with my friend's town xD But today, I really love my town and name, and very proud with how I match the overall together xD I love my town!!

First one is Scotch. I was using a name generator and that popped up, and I LOVE it. It sounds so carefree and fun to me. Like butterscotch, hopscotch, liquor scotch haha. Everything about it just seems carefree

Soooo for my other town my boyfriend jokingly told me I should call this one Absinthe. So I did. I don't really like it, not carefree like Scotch. I don't even like alcohol lol, can't tolerate it, so I wish it had a different name. I'm sure I'll restart it though.

My characters are Lennox and Sage. Lennox I got on that name generator. It reminded me of the super fancy china Lenox, and also sounds kind of masculine and hardcore haha. So I love the balance of delicate and rough. Sage I chose because of where I'm from, there's this dessert plant, Sagebrush, and it smells so gooood when it rains haha. And Sage is a pretty common name now. Also have been playing lots of Assassin's Creed: Black Flag, and they have a sage on that game, so that bumped the name up a little more for me

I named my town Ruddyoak, and myself/the mayor Athelwyn. They're both characters in an old Lord of the Rings computer game--I think it came out in 1990? Anyway, I've used the name Athelwyn for various things ever since.

In the LOTR game, Ruddyoak is an ent, and Athelwyn is a human (ranger?).

I wanted to call my town Sanctuary, because it would be my little happy place to escape to. :]
It didn't quite fit so I chose Serenity, which also has a nice meaning. ^^

I named my first town Stardust. I wanted a pretty name but something also related to books I have read. Stardust is a book title by Neil Gaiman. I wanted to name it Neverwhere(another book by him) but it wouldn't fit and I didn't want to cut any letters out. So Stardust on out.

In my second town I named it Lullaby. I mainly named it after one of my favorite comics that was cut short. I hoped it fuel me with some inspiration for the town itself. ^^

My town is named Celador.
It's a play on words from a scene from the film Donnie Darko, where Donnie and his teacher are taking about the English language. Apparently the words cellar and door when put together are the most beautiful to hear. I tweeted it slightly and named my town Celador!

My current town's name is Mikado, based on the Eastern Kingdom of Mikado in Shin Megami Tensei IV.
When I gave my town that name I was still obsessed in playing SMTIV.
