What are you looking forward to in the second half of 2020?

COVID-19 may have grounded us, but eventually the world will progress past this point and a brighter future is waiting. So what are you all looking forward to in the second half of 2020?

Come autumn I will be working under a scientist I greatly admire. I'm looking forward to seeing my other half again. I'm excited for Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town to come out in July, and volumes 4 and 5 of a book series I'm reading are due out in June and August respectively.

I’m looking forward to finding a new home for me and my 2 babies (they’re 3 & 1 but still my babies lol). Looking forward to returning to normal life - even going back to work! Looking forward to the Paper Mario release and I’m reaaally excited for premier league football to return

Honestly I just want to be able to meet my significant other who's thousand of miles away from me atm and international air travel is grounded. With many airlines going bust and countries yet to fully recommission air routes, plane tickets will probably cost a fortune. Not to mention the 14 days quarantine certain countries have imposed for visitors. With many experts in the travel industry saying normalcy for international travel will not return until 2023, I just hope I can somehow travel in the second half of 2020.

At the moment, just waiting on a job status to restart my career and then see where it progresses from there (been postponed since late February) and looking forward to movies that have been postponed because of the pandemic to be released when cinemas around the world re-opens. Otherwise, not much to look forward to for 2020

Being able to use my foot again after surgery and healing. Don't expect it before August/September though.

Working on myself, exercising, writing, watching anime, playing videos games, getting a better job than the one I have now (not that I don’t enjoy it, but it doesn’t pay enough). Any number of things really. I have a lot of time now to devote myself to these things since I finished school, so might as well keep working on them.

Meeting up with my other half who lives in a different country. Planning that trip to Japan for next year that we were supposed to have this summer (obviously not happening). Still need to experience my first concert/tour. Did a 180 on my career path so I'm excited to start school again even though I just graduated university 1 1/2 years ago lol.

I’m looking forward to going to my favorite place in the world for vacation. Usually I got with our close family friends, but this year they got a new puppy so I get to meet her! Hopefully it will be nice and peaceful with not many people there, because I don’t want another resurgence of Covid. I’m going in end of July so hopefully we will be in the clear. I also can’t wait to hang out with my best friend again!

I'm very lucky that I am still able to work remotely, but I do miss seeing my coworkers in person. They're my favourite group of people. I'm just looking forward to when we can have in-person meetings again!

As for myself, just to get back to my daily routine. The casinos are already open here so that’s nice. I can’t wait for football to return, though. Going to events at the casino again, going to the mall without any restrictions and continuing to save money for a house and a car.
