There are other recent Anime I enjoy as much, but none can compete in terms of sheer hype—the focus shifts between whether they make it in the industry or solve the murder, and I'm just along for the dazzling, depressing ride!

Akane's near suicide was so sad.
It's so clever how it mirrors our fixation on the entertainment aspects with that of actual idol culture. Like one moment you're focused on the deeper story and the next you get completely caught up in the superficial glamour of their performances: Forgotten is Ai's death or Akane's suicide attempt—because the music slaps, the girls look cute, and it just makes you FEEL. SO. GOOD! Beautiful lies indeed.

I'm new to both New Horizons and the Bell Tree!
This forum came up when I googled my Island name, and I thought it could be fun to connect with the community and maybe make some friends along the way.
ABOUT MYSELF
My hobbies are mostly of the introverted variety (reading, writing, games, and TV), but I'm outgoing and enjoy being around people too. This seems like a great place to disconnect from the world, and get some good distance from all the chaos in my life.
ABOUT ISLAND
My plan was to start the game on March 20th, but I decided to look for Islands in the meantime and already found the perfect one! Now all that's left to do is wait for real-time and game-time to sync up later this month, and the journey can finally begin!
I'm looking forward to participating in the events here, and will be blogging about my experiences in a journal soon as well. If you have any questions, advice, or even just want to chat, I'd be happy to hear from you
But anyways, do you have a dream code to share with me for your island? To generate one go to your home, then go to the bed, then start lying down on the bed, then select I Want To Sleep, then select About My Dream… then paste the code here! It will let me and the community see your great island! (note that this only works when you have an active Nintendo Switch Online subscription)
