Today has been kinda meh but it wasn’t bad .

My mom got me some baklava from some place she went to today! I haven’t had baklava in so long; I love it so much.

Earlier I got more done in my island journal; I still need to finish up my last entry. I finished most of a collage that I made for my journal (for a later entry). I started another one (a smaller project this time) to go with the other one . I’m hoping I can finish my last entry and play some more tonight.

I got some snuggles from my kitties earlier .

I might be able to turn something in for the tales of terror . I’m hoping I can get it done since I want as much coins as possible .

I’m still having a lot of fun with the fair . I was happy my last round of the scavenger hunt was accepted; I was worried about my head stone submission. Very grateful that it was accepted!

@Mimi Cheems invited me to her new discord group. I was really happy that she wanted me to be there .

☾ I got a mushroom island on one of Kapp’n’s tours in ACNH!! Now I’m super close to being able to craft all the remaining mushroom items I want on my island ;w; If I can get at least four skinny mushrooms the next time I get a mushroom island, I think I’ll be set aaa

☾ My parents and I watched Grian’s latest Wild Life episode this evening!

☾ I submitted my guess for the final round of House of Nightmares, and with that I think I’m all done with the Halloween event!

Just heard some good news from a friend and I'm really happy for him! Him and our other friends are probably gonna hangout later to celebrate so I'm looking forward to seeing them. Other than that, my grandparents went to go see an art exhibition today, and I'm happy to see my grandma's doing a little better now since she's been pretty depressed the last couple months.
Overall today is going pretty well!

Today was pretty good. I had a big work day and was able to get out a little early. Did a couple game events, including the Soul Hounds one in the arcade in Zenless Zone Zero, and I got 3 or 4 1st place finishes, which is much better than I did last time, lol. The Dallas Mavericks also dispatched the Minnesota Timberwolves 120-114 to go to 3-1 on the season. They're looking really exciting as a team right now.

- I started reading Loveless by Alice Oseman! It's been a great read so far, and as I'm aroace myself I can relate a lot to the MC.

- I finally made up my social studies test that I missed. It was pretty hard but I'm glad to get that out of the way.

- My first band concert of the year is tomorrow! We're playing two pieces; one by ourselves and one with the other bands that will be there. The collective piece is very beautiful, but I play whole notes for about half the piece and the time signature switches are hell, so I'm not a fan. And if anyone's wondering, I play clarinet

- Rehearsal today was chaotic as all hell but surprisingly productive. We polished up some blocking, so hopefully we'll be all ready to go for our first full-cast rehearsal on Friday!

- We started setting up for our haunted house this morning! Every year, the oldest drama students get to set up a haunted house in the school for everyone else, and it's finally our turn this year! My group and I are doing a creepy-crawlies room, so we spent the period setting up spiderwebs and fake bugs all over the room. I also get to skip the entire morning to act in the haunted house, so I'm very happy about that.

I had a relaxing day today. I was tired, so I slept in a bit later than normal. I got up around 1pm instead of noon. Not having to worry about a work schedule is so wonderful.

I managed to walk two full blocks again today. The weather outside was lovely, perfect fall temperature, not too hot or too cold. I saw a squirrel, some kitties, and four neighborhood dogs.

I'm loving the Halloween vibes on TBT and in general. It's my favorite holiday and it's almost here!

-despite the dodgers losing today, had a good time at the bar with some coworkers and they had some tuesday deals so it was a good buzz and good eats for the cheaps

-been reconnecting from some old tbt homies since my hiatus and it's been so dope i'm literally beaming

-this happened yesterday, but i'm still geeked bout it!! i got some kicks i've had my eyes on for months for a deeeecent deal. i still got them resale, but i don't even mind cause i wanted them so bad

I had the day off work today! I got some chores done, some TBT Halloween stuff, and played some Switch, but otherwise I didn't get much done! Still, it was nice to have a day off mid-week after two busy days!

I've been enjoying the Halloween event, and seeing everyone's entries. I'm especially amazed at all the collectible designs. I was also gifted a King Boo Idol from @/Alolan_Apples , and it's been fun to haunt people's posts!

My sister and I have talked a bit more lately, and she got some (relatively) good news today, so I'm really happy for her in that regard.

I got to play some Super Mario Party: Jamboree with a friend today! So far I've played all of the boards except Western Land! I'm really enjoying SMPJ so far, and I'm glad to be able to play as a Monty Mole again! I also like the single player Party Planner Trek, the Mario Party Cards, and that you can customise your plaza area!

My Chococat Build-A-Bear came in today! He's my favorite and I barely see any merch with him so I jumped at the opportunity. I gave him the sugar cookie scent too I passed on the clothes though as I prefer the look of just the blue collar. I love him so much :")

I finsihed my pumpkin carving~ gonna take a pic tomorrow
now i just need to finish the story >.< It's going well, needs editing too, its just sitting down and finishing it. I'm just glad I know what I am writing, and not worrying how to end it.

Gonna wear some halloweeny stuff for work tomorrow despite only going in the morning i rather still dress up.

• I went to the party at school and it was fun!
• Although nobody recognized my costume, one of my teachers said “what are you? A stewardess?” Which made me very very happy to hear I looked like that ^^

☾ Shino and Deirdre finally gave me their photos in ACNH I spent forever gifting them wrapped coconuts, and then two days into using the full pocket trick instead, I get both of their photos… full pocket trick ily. I'm just missing Rod's photo now! Also grew a third purple hyacinth!!

☾ I watched SolidarityGaming’s second Wild Life episode with my parents!! My mom and I also caught up with Markiplier’s Pilgrim videos and one of ImpulseSV’s Phasmophobia streams this evening too c:

I had a great day at work and went to martial arts tonight, but most importantly....

The Los Angeles Dodgers are 2024 World Series Champions!!! And with that, the Texas Rangers are no longer the current World Series Champions.

CONGRATS, LA DODGERS FANS! YOUR TEAM EARNED THIS!

Today was a bit sluggish for me, but it was not a bad day .

I’m happy that I got another entry done in my island journal. Tomorrow I should have enough iron nuggets to turn in to Tommy and Timmy. I think I should be able to start island hopping for my next villagers soon! I’m hoping to not find the villagers I want for my permanent lineup right away (if I do, I might skip them) so I can cycle through as many villagers as possible before I finish decorating my island. I think the list of villagers that I’m interested in has expanded significantly since I first came to TBT.

I tried this other baklava that my mom got me the other day and it was also very good!

I got a lot of snuggles from Spanky earlier today .

I got another tbt shop order .

I was really happy @Yanrima~ wanted me to join her little server too and that we got to chat for a little bit.

My cats seem to be getting along better with my sister’s dog. Jewels used to stalk her and go bapbapbapbap at our other house. She didn’t do that at all; no hissing or growling either.

I’m looking forward to seeing what collectibles are returning tomorrow and which delicious delight collectible won.

I had a lot of fun with the event but I will be happy when the event concludes since my burnout from the fair got worse with this event ; my fault but I had a lot of fun still .

I forgot to post this on Tuesday. I got a unit in OPTC that I didn’t have; not the one that I wanted this time but I’m still pretty happy.

Today I have several reasons to be happy.

- I love my husband and my dog. They're both so sweet to me and I appreciate the unconditional love I get from both of them.
- My mom and brother have health insurance coverage again! Medicaid dropped them in September and it's been a nightmare since then, but thanks to a referral I found an insurance agent who got them the right policies to cover their needs. I'm so glad I stopped trying to do it myself and sought help.
- I've already ordered a Christmas present for my husband and one for my dog. I'm hoping to get Christmas shopping done early this year since I have the time.
- The Dodgers won the World Series. One of my nephews is a fan, so I'm excited for him.
- My username was changed to M'LadyDestani as a Halloween prank. It's very cute!

What happened yesterday:
- My mom cooked an Iranian dish that's basically sweet rice which tasted good.
- Completed the Pokedex in PL: Arceus and received the Shiny Charm from Cyllene. Can't wait to shiny hunt.

What happened today:
- I went to class and completed a reading assignment.
- Visited the library and checked out some books. There were also some artworks on display that I really admired.
- Had some Nepali food for dinner.
- Worked on a sketch.

my professor canceled one of our homework assignments!!! made my whole day and saved me at least an hour tonight

today's class was also really fun! it's probably one of the hardest classes i've ever taken but i actually somewhat understood today's material
