What Are You Happy About Today?

- my partner comes back today from Seattle. They went to go see a concert. I went grocery shopping and stocked up on snacks they like. Also apparently they got me a souvenir so I'm excited to see what it is. I hope it's a keychain
- there were mugs on clearance at Walmart so I got my mom a couple for fall. My mom can't get out of the house very easily so I like to get her little surprises to keep her spirits up
- I've been playing pocket camp again. Imma gonna miss it when it leaves at the end of the year, even if it is crappy and repetitive. I'm also replaying Story of Seasons AWL on the switch. I might try Harvest Moon 64 after this cause there's a version on the switch that you can play with the expansion pack
- my dad got some Girl Guide mint cookies so he gave me a box

I’m struggling again, but a couple things that made me happy .

Last night I used up all my free tickets in Fate Go on Super Orion; I got him with my last ticket .

I didn’t exactly need him since I have two other good archers but he is placed higher on the tier list and offered something different than the other two that I have, so I thought having him would still be beneficial .

I had a nice little chat with @Xara; been having fun bantering about Among Us .

I just found another nearly busted radio in the recycling bin in ACNH .

I’m making good progress on my orderable clothing catalogues; I started with about 900ish items on that list. Now I have 592 left .

Yesterday my mom made tacos for us.

I’m also happy that everyone that I play Among Us with were really kind and understanding about me possibly needing time off for some of the sessions because of something I’m dealing with right now. I really am grateful. I’m hoping my mood improves more or what I’m dealing with is resolved on a happier note so I can make it to the rest of the sessions .

Bit of a self thought ramble

Ever since my younger cousin got his own switch, he's been getting better at Smash Brothers Ultimate. I know he practices a lot.

I've never had anybody who could actually challenge me. And man, it's actually kinda nice being able to play seriously with somebody again. Right now it's my less practiced characters he can beat. But still. Improvement is improvement and it's pretty awesome.

Will he catch up fully? Maybe. With my better characters I can usually keep up at a tournament level. I am excited to see how far he does go or how much he will challenge me in the future.

I stopped playing actively but this gives me reason to play again from time to time.

It has been a great relaxing day off. It was really nice out this morning so we took Aurora to the park for her morning walk. We saw bunnies while we were there.
This morning we prepared for the possibility of a hurricane hitting on Thursday by taking in all the yard decorations and furniture.
Thanks to the encouragement of the amazing @-Blue- and the amazing @Xara I made an art thread today. I worked on my Halloween drawing even though it’s only September but I felt inspired so why not. Almost done with it.
Going to draw some more this evening and maybe play some ACNH.

☾ I made it to the Pokémon League in Pokémon X and defeated the Elite Four + Diantha! oddly it wasn't her who I had the most trouble with, instead Siebold nearly wrecked my entire team asjlkfhgkdfj I was able to get started on the postgame content just a smidge as well c:

☾ This evening my family and I watched ImpulseSV’s Minecraft castle raid video, which was really cool!

☾ I’ve also been working on some owed art and enjoying that! my new mechanical pencil is really nice aaaa... I love being able to get super fine lines without having to constantly worry about sharpening ;w;

The past few days :3

- On Saturday my BPD was acting up severely; and my mental health tanked almost completely.. My boyfriend brought me a Dr. Pepper, a Hershey Kiss ('cause I'm always asking for kisses hehe), and a chocolate bar.. and even wrote such a cute little note. He left it on my doorstep, because I didn't wanna see him.. I was scared of having another episode on him so :'3 I kinda pushed him away.. BUT!!! The kind, caring gesture he did for me really.. made me so happy..

- Sunday, I felt better enough to see him c: We played Demon Slayer: Sweep the Board together and we had A LOT of fun. He won, of course.. -w- But, I was happy that he came to hang out. He even brought Taco Bell for us ;w; That also made me happy.. he knew just what I wanted without even asking me He even gave me a cologne spray for my separation anxiety. He's going on vacation this Sunday, and by the time he gets back-- I'LL be on vacation.. T^T So, the spray is really gonna help, I think.

- Oh! I also won a full set of pins from the Fair raffle! That made me EXTREMELY happy because that was what I really wanted! I'm gonna give the Snow Bunny pin to my sister, @Azzy, because I know she loves the Snow Bunny collectible and stuff-- and I think she also wanted to win something too but didn't xD So I hope the Snow Bunny pin makes her happy! ^_^

- Went to my sisters Monday night.. I'm still here but we're having a great time together! We've just been coexisting together while we do our own thing. Chatting and enjoying each others company :3 She also forced me to watch some of the Obey Me! anime, and despite my attention span doing its thing-- I still enjoyed what I watched xD I love Mammon and Beel so much.. my baybays!!! >w<

- Played AC:NH for a while today. I plan on playing a bit more because I only brought my Switch, my phone-- and laptop, but did NOT bring my laptop charger :^/ So that was annoying. But I'm happy that I get to enjoy playing AC:NH xD

- Talked with @Midoriya a bit the past couple of days. He makes me real happy, 'cause he's such a genuine and caring friend! :3 I love chatting with him. His jokes and hearing about his day and stuff lift my spirits c:

- @Chibi.Hoshi, @Vhoop, and a few other of my friends chatted a bunch the past few days as well! I LOVE my little friend group :3 I enjoy laughing with them and joking around and just genuinely having a good time together. Chibi is the greatest, and so are the rest of my lil' pals!!

- Been pretty ill this past week but a couple days ago was finally well enough to do a shift at work again and now I finally got the energy/motivation to clean the house and my room, which has made me feel better! Nobody had mopped or swept at all for the 2+ weeks I was away

I realised yesterday I put a midsem and an assignment into the wrong week on my calendar and I have three assignments and a midsem next week which was a bit panic inducing, but my family, and especially my partner have been such a light in my life honestly

It was their birthday on Monday and we spent the day together, just chatting, going for a walk and playing some games. I've just been feeling really grateful for them right now, for their support but also just feeling lucky because they're such an amazing person that I'm lucky to have in my life

After I stopped working on assignments for the day we just played some minecraft together for a while, I was helping them a bit with this cool build they're doing and it was just a lot of fun just listening to music and chatting.

I'm just grateful that through everything irl going stressful at the moment, for the people in my life.

On a less sappy note, I had a really nice curry for dinner HAH, and I was grateful to put a decent chunk in the assignment I hadn't started until today (because I thought I had two weeks and it's for an elective unit).

I always watched the Orangutan Island show before school in the morning. They are incredibly intelligent and conservation programs to keep them alive are very important.

I finally got a diagnosis for symptoms I've been complaining to doctors about for five years. Chronic fatigue syndrome. Bless having a doctor who listens rather than turning me away when my bloods came back mostly normal. I've been referred to a specialist and also a cardiologist for a heart monitor, but whatever, we are making progress and this is good. Knowing we've a name and there is treament to manage the condition (even if there is no cure) is such a relief.

After 5 weeks off work I'm going back to work tomorrow. It'll be a phased return and I've a meeting with HR to discuss adjustments, but I'm glad to be getting my life back. We are closed on Friday and Monday so my first day back will be followed by four days off - but I think this will be a major confidence boost. A lot of people with my condition don't work, but that sounds like hell to me! I'm lucky I have an amazing employer who is willing to work with me to retain me.

I'm so very excited for when we bring our kittens home in 2.5 weeks. I have moments where I'm just sat on the couch and imagine them fully grown in front of me and it is bliss. My partner and I aren't intending to have human kids for a very long time (if ever), so they'll be our babies.

• It was a beautiful crisp, fresh morning and Blossom had a lovely morning walk. My brother spent some time with her. He said she is just like a cuddly bear! I bought her 2 Serrano Ham bones, she absolutely loves them. I love watching her holding it with her paws whilst eating it!
• I won £25 on some scratchcards that were gifted to me.
• Had a lovely day with my Dad on his birthday.
• Played some ACNH to celebrate Mitzi's birthday.
• Also, attempted to draw C.J.!

Earlier I maxed my friendship with Mitzi in acnh . I’m hoping I get her photo soon; also hoping to get Julia to move out so I can go island hopping again.

I think I’m feeling good enough again to host the upcoming sessions for Among Us; the time off definitely helped and also the thing that was troubling me is in the process of being mended . Thanks so much everyone for the kind responses, reactions and understanding; you’re all the best!

I got some snuggles from Jewels earlier and I caught her trying to get in tiny box .

What’s even funnier is that my late kitty Mel tried to get in a box smaller than that. She tried to get in one of those small boxes that comes with Magic the Gathering fat packs . Cats are so silly liking their boxes so much .

My White Princess has been giving me lots of white. Today, even though the new leaf broke off, I'm excited to see she's giving pink leaves too. Hopefully the next one on the same stem comes out nice and pink too :") She has more luck with color than my Pink Princess for sure.

I finished picking out the rest of my gifts from my special day. I got Sanji’s cookbook which I wanted before it was even in English (I’m not a cook but I love anime & video game cookbooks and it does make me want to try to cook; a starter deck for the One Piece TCG (Zoro and Sanji); and some welcome amiibo packs (I think these only come with three cards) . I’m hoping for Hornsby, Spike, Sylvana and really any I don’t have.

I'm back for my monthly Happy post...

♡ I've been taking measures to improve my mental (and physical) health by taking better care of myself and being more active/productive. I still have a long way to go, but I'm getting there and I'm already noticing a slight improvement in my mood.

♡ I bought Stardew Valley the other day!! I would've preferred the PC version, but I'm broke and had extra money in my eShop account. I don't know a whole lot about the game, but it's super fun and I'm really enjoying it.

♡ I won one of the TBT Fair raffles!! I picked the White Feather, I'm super ecstatic to have all three monochrome feathers and get another one of my dream collectibles.

♡ I went for a walk with my dad today, we browsed some second-hand stores and ate hot dogs and poutine at one of the fast-food restaurants in our town. I enjoyed myself and I'm happy to spend some time with my family.

♡ One of my aunts got me a Zelda hoodie, which is going to arrive in the mail soon! I can't wait.

♡ Our cat, Wookie, is cuddling with me as I type this. He's such a sweetheart.
