I went to a baseball game last night and my team won which was pretty nice! The game was really good too, its been awhile since the team I like has had an exciting game like that.

Today is Black Cat appreciation day

This year I grew brusslesprouts, broccoli, and celery. Mostly just for experimentation since I wanted to see how they grow. Both the broccoli and brusslesprout plants have yielded and it was fun to see how the sprouts grew on the stalk of the leafy plant and have to be snapped off.

The celery is kind of a late bloomer. I thought it wasn't doing well, but apparently it takes about 200 days for maturity...so I might not actually get anything considering by then it will probably be late fall and too cold for it to thrive

Not the best yield for the broccoli this time, but it's at the end of its run so I'll probably pull out the plant soon. The sprouts are still going strong and I baked both in the oven and they turned out amazing!

I was able to trap and spay a feral cat in my neighborhood who had already been through several pregnancies. I named her Georgina! During surgery, the vet also removed a large hernia that could have been fatal. She’ll be getting a quiet 3-day stay to recover before being released. I’m so happy knowing she won’t have to struggle through more pregnancies and has a much better chance at a healthy life!

- Finished the drawing of Emma Watson in colored pencils. I used an online tutorial to draw her, and having an artist to guide me through the process was really helpful.
- Went for a walk outside in the afternoon.
