Okay, it's been a while since I posted in this thread, so I will just catch you guys up and highlight what has been happening these past couple weeks...
* Back on July 27th....
I FINALLY GOT MY ID IN THE MAIL!!!
(I cannot drive--so yeah--I got a regular ID instead)
I may (or may not) have mentioned this part, but on June 24th, my dad and I went back to the DPS (after failing to get his license and my ID back on June 12th) and succeeded the second time. I know this seems too ordinary to get excited about, but guys...this is something my dad and I have been trying to get done for YEARS! We spent around TWO YEARS trying to do guardianship stuff, since he didn't think we had enough documents to prove my identity. But it never panned out, as these lawyers are busy with actual cases. So then my dad finally decided "Screw it...We will try this without guardianship." -- And thank GOODNESS we succeeded!
* My family is currently in the process of renovating our back yard. The patio area is being turned into a sunroom/livingroom and the yard now has a deck and picnic table. The furniture is probably going to be put in the patio area in the morning. The screen should come after this weekend. But yeah, I cannot wait until it is fully finished. It's still a WIP, but everything already feels so nice. I will probably hang out in there a lot (at least when it is still new) once it is all finished. We are also planning on throwing a party in late September for my brother's 25th birthday and my grandmother's 80th birthday (which we will probably be in the backyard a lot for), so that should be a fun day. ^_^
* Today, my dad found out we will have to make an appointment for getting my social security card. While it would have been nice to just do a walk-in today, just him finding this information out is good enough for me. I was pretty frustrated last Friday, because we were going to try to get it done then (he wasn't aware of the appointment requirement) since that was his last Friday before returning to work this past week, but he silently cancelled. I later found out it was due to the carpet (for our backyard patio) that was supposed to come then, only for it to get delayed to the following Monday. So, yeah. I think it is for the best that we ended up not going that day. Even if it was to make an appointment, it would have been a struggle to do so when my dad had a lot of work stuff ahead of him. Things are chaotic at my dad's work right now, so he wants to wait for things to die down before he makes the appointment, which will help to make things go by more smoothly. And the carpet was installed this passed Monday, so what's done is done. ^^
* I will also have a neurology appointment pretty soon (probably not too long after I get my social security card) for my NF1. I am a bit apprehensive, since they will be inspecting my body, which is a bit unnerving, but it is what it is. If it is what I have to do to get what all I need to get done--done, then so be it. According to my dad, I will also get asked questions. Now, THIS part I am curious about. It is a neurologist, not a psychologist, but I wonder if it will be worth bring up my ASD and that I have been highly suspecting I have ADHD. I was supposed to go to a psychiatrist back in late 2023 or early 2024, but since we decided not to do the guardianship stuff, it never happened.
* There is no telling how long this will last, but I feel like I have my Animal Crossing mojo back.
- I recently reset my ACNH island. I should been getting the town hall in the morning. I plan to incorporate multiple themes into my island: Pink, Romance, Astronomy, Entomology, Baking/Sweets, Astronomy, Rainbow/Color ^_^
- I found out how to use a save editor for ACNL on Citra (my 3DS has given out, so I have moved to an emulator). I am sad to shy that I did have to cheat my encyclopedia and all of the fish, as I - for the life of me - cannot catch fish on Citra. Even if I press the key as soon as the fish bites, I miss it. And this goes for smaller, common fish too.
- I installed an ACCF deluxe mod on Dolphin. Oh boy...it has been a TREAT so far. First, I go into the game for the first time and discover a villager who I was least expecting to see--VALISE! I never had her in GC, since she is unable to be a starting villager and Nintendo has not revived her for future games. I never had her up until this point, but I still loved her and wanted to experiment with her as a neighbor. Well, now I am. :,) -- I was not expecting the "forgotten" villagers to be a part of this mod, so this definitely caught me off guard in a good way. <3333
- VALISE EVEN GAVE ME A LOVELY VANITY! The lovely series is my favorite furniture series of all time. <3333

Anyway, yeah. I will end it off here. Hopefully, I will soon have updates on my social security card and the neurology appointment. ^_^
