You can't hide behind an opinion solely because it's an opinion.only_half_evil333 said:It doesn't matter what Koehler based his opinion on, its still his opinion an you completely disregarded it. You have no idea how completely ignorant you sound. Plays don't count on Shakespeare "experiences." Shakespeare was a genius, how dare you call his work a bunch of garbage. He has sold millions even after hes been dead. Hes done more then you could ever possibly accomplish.Super_Naruto said:I'm sorry, but Koehler's opinion was trash. He had nothing behind his opinion. Ah, and once again your assumptions take over. I have based my opinion on Shakespeare from my Shakespeare experiences. Now tell me why Koehler's opinion was an acceptable or reasonable opinion for this discussion.

Calling an opinion *CEN-2.0-SORD* is not a flame because you aren't insulting the poster.only_half_evil333 said:Like I said before its the principle that counts. You came and lectured us about flaming people and then you call Koehler's opinion *CEN-2.0-SORD*. You should just leave. Your worse then Snoop. Who cares if I don't know about the series, and how is it sad that i haven't read it? Were not even talking about the series right now. Its an opinion, respect it and you might receive respect back.Super_Naruto said:How dare you accept Koehler's opinion. It was literally *CEN-2.0-SORD*. "LoTR + Star Wars = Inheritance" That is complete *CEN-2.6-SORD*. Anyone even a 10 year old would be able to realize how wrong that is. And stay out of this, obviously you know nothing about those series, which is sad.
Chill out.only_half_evil333 said:WE AREN'T EVEN TALKING ABOUT YOU AND YOUR ******** SERIES! The only one that is truly brilliant would be the LOTR. If so many people here have said they hated it, its clearly not "brilliant." Snoop was just putting one sentence post like 4 times in a row like usual. And am I the only one saying how stupid Snoops post are? NO! Please your post are just as bad as Snoops, please read them before you add it.Super_Naruto said:Because Star Wars, LoTR, and Inheritance are brilliant series. Also, let Snoop have his opinions just as you have let Koehler have his. Cleary, if you had any sense of what's right or ethics you would realize that you must be ******** to argue about something you have no prior knowledge about.

Also, I'm glad I don't think prejudicely often and do not enter conversations that I know nothing about (enter them seriously). Okay, how about you calm down, because this is an internet forum, no need to get angry or hyped up about that. And once again, I'm sure you haven't read/watched the Naruto series and gotten into it enough to take it seriously, but that's okay.
How many movies have you seen in which the characters fall in love at first sight? Hell, not even 10 Things I Hate About You had that and it was based off Taming of the Shrew.Propaganda Man said:Most of the books I read are long.Koehler said:He's counting picture books.

LOL, LOL, and LOL. CONTRADICTION!, and that's impossible. You said you can read 50 pages a day, which I doubt highly anyway. There are 30 days in a month. The books you read, on average, then, are 35 pages long, if we take everything you said as the truth. You really gotta stop being a *CEN-3.0-SORD*ing noob on these forums.
I'm doubting someone can read 100 pages a day, spend that amount of time on forums, go to school during the day, do homework, and write reviews everyday.TwilightKing said:How many movies have you seen in which the characters fall in love at first sight? I believe he said 50-100 pages. You might want to mention that instead of taking the lower number for whatever reason.

I'm a few years older than Snoop, but you usually don't have time in school at all, but you never know, may get a few minutes here and there if you're in an easy enough grade. Certainly not for me though. :/ [/quote]TwilightKing said:Cool.Propaganda Man said:I'm doubting someone can read 100 pages a day, spend that amount of time on forums, go to school during the day, do homework, and write reviews everyday.TwilightKing said:How many movies have you seen in which the characters fall in love at first sight? It's very possible for fast readers though. I myself couldn't because I take things slow. There are people who can read through 100 pages in an hour or less. While I'm not saying Snoop can it is still something worth mentioning.
Also, aren't you allowed to read at school or am I mistaken?

Haven't you noticed the plot similarities between The Inheritance Series and Star Wars? First there's the whole uncle being killed because of the nephew. Then there's the Dragon Riders (parralleling Jedis) and the betrayal (*coughAnakincough*). Not to mention the name similarities between the Inheritance characters and Lotr characters. I could go on and on about how the plots are pretty much the same...Super_Naruto said:I agree, the Inheritance series is an awesome series. The first book was great, and the second book was even better. I don't think I will be able to wait until September, when Brisingr comes out. To be honest, in my opinion, the Inheritance series is a lot better than the Harry Potter series (and I've read all 7 books). Harry Potter was just...too kidlike. But, Inheritance it just seems like a more mature story.JJH0369 said:I actually think the Inheritance Trilogy (Eragon, Eldest) by Christopher Paolini is pretty good. Eldest is one of my favorite books. (No, I did not see Eragon the movie. I heard it ruined the book.)
As for younger readers/people to lazy to read a 650 page book, I recall really liking the Charlie Bones series back in fifth or sixth grade...
@Koehler: Don't even make me rant on wrong you are, and why the hell would you mix Lord of the Rings and Star Wars to get Inheritance. Obviously you're way too stubborn to actually read the books (watch movies) and understand the series. I know everything about all 6 Star Wars movies, everything about the 2 Inheritance books, and I pretty much know everything about the 3 Lord of the Rings movies. And in no way does LoTR + Star Wars = Inheritance.
First of all, the only similarity between LoTR and Inheritance is that it is set in an age of Dragons, Elves, Dwarves, etc. The 2 are so different, they aren't even comparable. And Star Wars does not match either of them. The only reason I feel you put Star Wars into your quote was because you were acknowledging it and the rest of those series on how amazing they are. Those 3 series, in my opinion, are all in the top 5 stories of all time.
@The rest of you: I love how you can't accept the fact that someone can have an opinion and that your opinion isn't a fact. We're discussing opinions, and I doubt that any of you, including me, can determine, for a fact, what the best series of all time is. Also, I just bolded the "in my opinion" parts of my rant beacuse it's my opinion, not a fact, and I don't think it's a fact. I'm throwing my opinion out there. Oh, and sorry for being completely off-topic.
And, just to throw this out there, Shakespeare is outdated and just a bunch of trash.
