The Megaphone is the most disappointing thing added to the game (Switch 2 users only)

It goes back to my original point. It would be so much better if the game added a new app to your nookphone that lets you "call" the villagers to either meet up where you are or ask where they are, so that you can go to them. The Megaphone fails even to pick up the villager's location. If the villager is indoors, it acts like they are not around, so that's why you go into any villager homes, able sisters, nook shop, or museum: there is a 50/50 chance they could be in there or not.

That's what I thought and hoped would happen, because it seems like there's an empty spot on the nook phone where you'd at least think they were gonna add something like that.

But I think because they were trying to advertise animal crossing on the new switch 2, they just wanted to use the microphone option and I'm pretty sure it wasn't great to use back in the day in New Leaf.

Like, the app option could still be varied on where they are. Example if they say they're visiting someone, it could just mean another villager, allowing you to explore your Island to locate them. Go to each house to see if they are together or not.
Say musuem, and you still need to go through each part to find them.
