I understand if this isn't answered (probably bad faith actors could use the info) but what's the main reason the site is just slow sometimes? Is it from some kind of bot prevention or bot traffic? I was always curious

Unfortunately, it is due to bot traffic (see below). We've had a couple of instances (1, 2) in 2025. Are you experiencing lag on the site at the moment? :(

It's due to bots, likely AI scrapers. They have been downloading 1000+ pages a minute lately. Hopefully it loads a bit better today.

is this the right thread (or is there somewhere better?) to ask about if I can trade some of my site currency for either TBT or in-game items? :) I realized I have a few shells, lucky tickets, and countdown coins that I won’t use, but I’m not sure if I can (1) trade all of them or (2) what the typical rate for exchange is? I feel bad holding onto them when I think maybe other users would put them to better use!

If you don't want your lucky tickets, countdown coins. I would like them. Or you can sell them for tbt in the marketplace

Seashells actually can't be traded, and neither can lucky tickets. With the amount of countdown coins you have, you wouldn't be able to buy anything in shop currently, but you can exchange them for lucky tickets (so you would have 12 more tickets). Lucky tickets also can't be given away, but if you enter one or more of the four raffles, you get 50 tbt consolation prize for not winning

Hey! Just wondering if anybody knew how to add images from my files to signatures. When I hit the image icon, it just asks for a link, so that's why I was asking. Thanks!

Hi there!

Unfortunately, it's not possible to upload a picture from your device for use in signatures. Using the image button you mentioned, you can enter a URL for an image hosted elsewhere.

The easiest option is to upload your image to a free image-hosting service, like imgbb, and then pasting the direct image link into the image button. We don’t recommend using Imgur to host images, as images hosted there may not be visible to members in the UK.
