I've made it my personal mission to include as many catbugs as I possibly can in my fair entries. So naturally, here's sleeping catbug lighting up the night sky! ^^

Just submitted my entry. It's the same guy in my current avatar (at least until I make a matching avatar/sig set for the fair), Takeru Kinjou, from the anime/manga called After School Dice Club. I ended up making his head/face shorter to fit in those smaller sparkles (mostly because I couldn't get his actual face to look right in the design maker).

How to Play

---

For this activity you will be designing a wonderful fireworks pattern that will light up the night sky! You will be using the in-game pattern designer to make your designs. The subject matter can be whatever you want but please make sure that it is in accordance to our Rules & Guidelines. Once you have designed your fireworks, take a photo of your design in full display during the Sunday nights firework show!

You are required to submit two photos. One is a screenshot of your design named as your TBT username. This shot can be screenshot immediately after pressing [+Done] in the designer app. The next photo should be your fireworks in action! Please select the photo that best displays your design!

To ensure that you get a good photo of your design, you can submit your design multiple times to Isabelle so it gives you time to take a good photo of one of them! You may also record your fireworks and take a still screenshot of the best burst time. Make sure that nothing in the landscape is obstructing your design! You will only be judged on the fireworks design.

• Firework design must be made by you in the designer app. No collaborations, no QR codes.
• Only submit the required photos (one photo of your pattern/TBT username, one photo that best shows your fireworks in the sky)
• No in-game filters, editing, cropping, etc. Please submit them as is directly from your screenshots.
• Firework designs must be in accordance to our Rules & Guidelines (no offensive or explicit content)

To submit your contest entry, please make a new thread in our Private Submissions board here. Select "Sparkles in the Sky" as the Contest Name. Please post the required photos in the main body of the post.

Entries must be submitted by September 6th at 11:59pm Fair Time. Late entries will not be accepted.
Please note that the actual Fireworks Show in Animal Crossing New Horizons ends on the 30th of August.

Feel free to post photos of your fireworks in this thread as well to show them off! Just make sure that you submit the required photos to the private submission board.

Yeah, unfortunately fireworks only happen in August If you decide you want to TT back just to participate, none of us would judge you for it! It’s totally up to you though.

I don't like time traveling for myself unfortunately. I wonder if I can design it from my bf's island cuz he time travels.. but not sure if that would be allowed >.<
