Setsubun party

My final event in my tobidase town is Setsubun. I'm looking forward to this event for a few reasons. One, it's the final event I haven't experienced yet, and two it looks SUPER fun:

Also, it'll get me some beans, a good luck roll, and if I take two characters from my NA town over, both ogre masks. I'm curious how many have done Setsubun, or watched the video and would want to do it with me. If you're interested in coming, post below, because if enough say they want to come, I'll host a Setsubun party, and post info about it on here.

Unfortunately the beans are available by luck from timmy and tommy. Maybe your town will have them?

From what I understand, both the beans and good luck rolls are to appear in the store a few days before the event (as well as the day of). I'll find out soon enough (I have a duper friend who may be willing to dupe a few for me if only like 2 show up in the store).

Does having the Emporium increase their chances? I have the Emporium, but also a duper friend who may be willing to dupe, I'll have to see if any show up.

I think that was the good luck roll- one of the things thonky lists as being sold before Setsubun. I don't know, that's why after watching this (as well as Lin&ko's), and some pics people posted about it online, it quickly became my most favorite holiday, despite never having done it! LOL

I've actually already visited a town celebrating Setsubun! Isabelle gives you a mask and when you talk to the villagers they throw beans at you lol its so cute! I brought my throwing beans with me and when I threw beans at the villagers their reactions were funny hahah (I forgot what they said though..)

Well, this is looking positive, 3 people posted that they want to do it in about 10 minutes. I wasn't sure if anyone would since Japan players will be getting it a 3rd time next month.

I have a japanese game too, So I've done this before. But I like doing it in other towns with my us version. I won't buy the sushi roll or anything xD

Yeah, I kind of figured enough also had the Japanese copy too (I still wish it weren't region locked, oideyo wasn't, but I digress). Anyway, it's 3196-4856-4619. I think I'll have the party, it's during the week, so it would probably help to have it around the 3 to 7 PM mark. I'll actually make another post with details, this was primarily to see if there would even be interest in it since it looks extremely fun to do.

I'm not even sure how it'll work with others, all the videos/pics I've seen have all been individuals playing, so I'm curious to see it- looks far better than just talking to Isabelle to get the item, because you interact with the villagers when wearing the masks.
