This just popped up on youtube.

Store band Excedrin migraine was the only thing that worked for me when I got those bad headaches. One time I went to the ER and they put me on enough benadryl, however you spell it, to knock me out despite the person screaming in the next room. It turns out they were "unofficially self medicating".

I guess it's nice to know there's no difference between the official variations now, just a weird restriction.

I’m always a fan of store brands for things in general. Every now and then there’s a drug where the brand name works better, but having generic store brands available is great.
But all the different “variations” are so confusing! Do I need Tylenol XS? Tylenol Cold and Sinus? Tylenol severe cough? Tylenol sinus severe?
I just always turn it over and look at the back for everything as a result.

Anyway, that was a cool piece of info about Excedrin dosing.
At the end, the pharmacist starts to mention the triptans, which are pretty helpful from my understanding. But I recently learned there are these newer anti-CGRP drugs called the gepants which seem pretty cool too!

I don’t personally have migraines, but my boyfriend does so I’m always on the lookout for other helpful treatments.
