Is Marshal a good villager?

Yeah,he's a good smug villager.I had him in New Leaf for a long time and I'm glad that he didn't change much for New Horizons.He looks good in fancy clothes too.

LITTLE BUSINESS MAN. I have him in my New Leaf town and like him well enough. He was in my campsite the other day so I invited him to live in on my island in NH and that sparked a big villager rotation to keep up with my high standards for personality and species variety. I digress. While he is not my all time favorite villager, I do like him very much and care not if it makes me part of a crowd.

He was my only smug villager in new leaf and I love him!! I personally love the little snarky side eye he gives sometimes hahaha

Also for all squirrels, their little tails swaying is SO CUTE

Well popularity isn't everything so don't judge any villagers on that for keeping or not keeping them. But Marshal looks cute and I like his way of talking too

beyond design, is there anything really different about Marshall compared to other smugs? Like I know they all seem pretty much the same in NH but is there some hobby or action or phrase that makes so many love him?

i first met him on new leaf when there was so much hype over him, he moved into my town randomly - i wasn't excited or disappointed, didn't care for him at first bc i'd never met him prior and was like "oh it's that squirrel villager everyone's obsessed with, okay". he even moved into a bad spot and i didn't plan on keeping him around, but he quickly grew on me and became my favorite villager and has been a fave ever since. currently have him in new horizons too! my island feels more like home with him around thanks to new leaf. but like others are saying, it's really a personal preference. the personality types truly do act/are (pretty much) the same apart from design, name and hobby so it really doesn't make too much of a difference. even if you end up not liking him, you could always have him move out eventually for another smug

i have him since nl and i still love him now. he's one of the biggest reasons why i honestly open my game even on days when i don't feel like playing. he's really sweet imo and just watching his tail bounces when he walks literally is a dunk in the serotonin bucket for me.

you can always invite him, get a feel for it. if you like keeping him around then great! if not, there's always the option of replacing him with someone else you like better. it's all too subjective to define what a "good" villager is lol

My three-year-old son just never liked him and was desperate to have Octavian instead.

I thought he was cool enough, but I prefer Shep when it comes to smugs.

I Got him in my town He was My 1st 10 Viallager I Only Kick out AI and Katt and now Rory To get hopkin , Frita and last Phoebe but claudia or sly maybe get booted to get drago in the future. So my town got gonzo maple sly kody audie hopkins marshal claudia frita Phoebe right now.

I have never had him in any of my Animal crossing games but I’ve been seeing a lot posted and about him in NH and he looks like a pretty cute villager
