what would you ask/tell them (other than that you love them)?

I'd love to ask Bonk about her life before me. She was adopted from a shelter, so I don't know anything about her past besides how she was found, but she was someone's cat before she was mine. I'd love to know who her people were, where she lived, etc. Knowing her past and where she came from would probably help explain some of her behaviours as well.

I'd like to ask our current cat why it eats so much. Literally the only thing she thinks about is food, lol. Speaking of which, I just remembered it's time to feed her...

I would explain to my cats the dangers of eating plastic, and I would tell my dog why I have to clip her claws.
