How many different personality types do you have living on your island?

Right now I only have 6. I'm keeping my snooty slot free to see if I can find Judy via campsite or NMTs and I haven't replaced my jock yet.

I have all 8 currently, but I might only have 7 depending on who I finally pick for my 10th villager (it's either gonna be O'Hare, Dom, or Genji). If I pick O'Hare it means I won't have a jock villager. I'm leaning towards Dom just because I've never had a permanent sheep villager and I like to have new villagers in the games they were introduced in.

I have all of them. I wish there were more villager personalities- dialogues feel so repetitve when you have 10 villagers because you have to have at least two villagers with the same personalities of other villagers on your island.

I currently have 6, I'm missing a jock and an uchi, ironically enough. I'm lowkey dying on the inside because I have four crankies, three of which are wolves and I'm like,, half of you need to leave, at the very least lol. Some are just place holders, but I'm not sure which one I plan on keeping (it's probably between Wolfgang and Fang, I choose by how in-game interactions go). Tasha is my only snooty since I kicked out Vivian, but I'm hoping to kick out Tasha too and replace her with Whitney. I also have two lazies, Raddle and Sherb but I think I'm gonna be booting Sherb out eventually. I think I'm starting to ramble a bit here lol so I'll stop, but basically my villager roster is a mess and I'm far from completing who I want my permies to be.

Do plan on getting an Uchi and Smug, but not too fussed about Jocks.

I think I have all eight! For snooty I have Willow and Ankha, and for Peppie I have Bunnie! As for Normal, I have Eunice, and for Cranky and Lazy I have Croque and Sherb. Lastly, for Uchi I have Shari, for Smug Marshal, and for Jock, Lyman and Teddy!

I have 4 personality types:
- Lazy (5 neighbors)
- Normal (3 neighbors)
- Uchi (1 neighbor)
- Snooty (1 neighbor)

Basically, I tend to go off based on house exterior, character design, and personality (in that order). As you can see, I really love the lazy boissss . They’re always so cute and soft. But anyways, I’m not as concerned with getting all personality types, and it’s never interested me.

For anyone who has all 8: do you consider the things I listed (exterior, design, personality) when choosing one type? I imagine it’s difficult if you’re trying to go for a specific theme for your island.

For me; Yes I do consider those things. It makes it tough, because it isn't easy (if even possible) to have villagers that tick every box. There are things I have to let go of; Hazel's interior doesn't fit but she's been my favorite Uchi, and I don't have the heart to let her go (especially since I got her for free). It's all about compromise if you want all 8; like in my previous post; if it wasn't for the DIYS I don't think I would have all 8 tbh.

All eight, plus an extra lazy and an extra normal. For a while I was without a snooty and it suucked. I have no idea how people can't live with every personality type

I have 7, and had planned to have 7, though now in the long run I might end up with 8 after all. I originally planned to not have a cranky, but I am liking Ike much more than expected, so now I’m not so sure. I like having 2 of the different types at least for a while, because I like seeing their interactions. Having 2-3 peppies has been great, and I am actually not minding having 3 normals right now either. I’m still gradually cycling through villagers so hopefully I will get to experience a few more different mixes before I end up locked into a villager lineup (most likely because of my inability to give anyone up rather than by choice).

I am missing a snooty right now but I do want to get one eventually, ideally Soleil or Willow, maybe Timbra or Judy

I really like normals, peppies, and uchis and would love to be able to have 2 of each

Lazy - 3 (Punchy, Sherb, Puck)
Smug - 1 (Keaton)
Sisterly - 1 (Phoebe)
Peppy - 1 (Tabby)

I was really concerned about the theme of my island and my villagers' hobbies. But now, it really don't matter anymore. So, I just invite whoever I fancy. My next objective is to get Snake.

I try to have all 8 personalities at all times, but I don't *love* any of the uchis so that's proving to be kind of difficult. I can't remember off the top of my head what I have at the moment since I haven't played in so long, but I think I have a peppy, a cranky, a lazy, a normal, two smugs, a jock, two snootys and an uchi? I also try and have a gender balance lol

All eight is good to have for balance, of course, but at the same time, some of the personalities just don't cut it for some people. For the longest time, I tried forgoing a normal villager, but the fact that the campsite likes to generate villagers of the personality you're missing is a hard shove in the right direction.

I'm glad I found a normal I'm fond of, but it was definitely a challenge for me. If it wasn't for the repetitive dialogue, I'd have a lot more jocks or crankies for sure. Their designs and personalities are the most appealing to me!

I have all eight with duplicates of lazy and cranky. Might get a third cranky if I have the heart to let Erik go but I’m still unsure because he’s one of my first 5 and I’m attached to him now haha.

right now i have six. three lazies (lucky, bob and biskit), one jock (kid cat), two snooties (ankha and vivian), one peppy (ketchup), one normal (flurry) and two smugs (henry and zell).

my final line-up has the same exact personalities just with +1 lazy, +1 normal, -1 smug and -1 snooty.
