I'm not a fan of it.

However, I'm an absolute beast at checkers. I know over 100 ways of defeating someone in that game.

When I was a kid I like chess a lot and was even on the school chess team. Now it's been so long I'm not sure if I even remember all the rules.

I used to quite like chess, my sister and i would play it quite a bit growing up and once i got used to it it could be quite fun. Haven’t played in years though, when it comes to board games there are just others I prefer so generally lean towards those.

the closest I've gotten to learning chess was after watching Queen's Gambit and it was still kinda too intimidating for me to start😭

I knew it well enough and learned all of the basic rules and then some, but playing with some people that take like 5 minutes per move is not how I want to spend my time. It's sort of the same with scrabble and it's someone's turn and they take an hour to put one word down...then I put mine down really fast only to go back to them for another hour to figure out their next word. No thanks.

But the computer chess versions cheat. I tried playing them, but was turned off by how OP the computer was and then I paid more attention and realized they were doing illegal moves when they would be in a tight spot. No thanks.

I like chess! I’d like to learn how to ACTUALLY play, like, strategically, rather than just knowing how all the pieces move and playing randomly. I don’t like how it a take forever between turns though, if you play with a rather serious opponent. It’s just a game, doesn’t have to turn into an hours long match.

I play chess, my boyfriend got me a chess strategy book for our anniversary and I got us each a chessboard. We play over facetime. I'm not good, at all but I'm working on getting better :) I enjoy it though because I do enjoy strategy games

I find that too hard to comprehend. Plus I’ve never bothered to even try it.

I do like Chinese Checkers, though.

I don't know how to play, and it's one of those things where I always tell myself I've learn but just kind of never get round to it. maybe one day..

I don't know how to play. It's over my head unfortunately. But I'm always willing to try again.

I like chess! My tutoring buddies taught me how to play a couple summers ago and it was a lot of fun. I haven't played much since then but I'd really like to get back into it.

Somehow I had way more patience and understanding of chess when I was a young kid compared to now.. These days I don't understand chess at all and I am too impatient to properly learn, but I love the way chessboards/chess pieces look

Not enough people near me know how to play. Those that do, are too good for me

I’ve played chess online because it tells you what’s allowed 😂 I don’t know how to play, I don’t get why it’s so confusing

I really ought to look more into chess and learn how to play it properly sometime. The closest I've come to playing chess is that I played with chess pieces on a chessboard but using the checkers ruleset back when I was a child.

i'm too stupid to understand it. my friend tried her hardest to explain it to me but it just went in one ear and came out the other ear.

i like the colors of the boards and the pieces though. i've always thought that they look very regal!
