I play handheld, mainly because it's the safer option in my house - I have a cat who loves cords. I'm not risking either her (don't really want a bbq'd kitty) or my system. She can't get at where the plug is right now.
Hey, I have several cats myself and thought I'd let you know -- if you check Amazon they have these velcro things you can wrap around cords. I feel your pain! I love having my switch docked but if I can't use the velcro for whatever reason, I hide it and just stay handheld. My 6 year old tuxedo never got out of the "must chew everything" phase
Definitely both with a majority handheld. I actually prefer it docked though because of the HD beauty. This game is crazy beautiful and I hate missing out on the wonderfulness but sometimes I'll play sitting outside or in the car and then obviously i can't have it docked.
Handheld. I prefer playing handheld (I even bought a console grip to make it more comfortable), but even if I wanted to play it docked one day I don't have the chance since my family are using the TV all the time...
I have never used my nintendo switch on docked mode, like ever lol even on my past games I have always played everything handheld, I should've waited for the lite version tbh as I never play on docked mode lol feel like I wasted some money just to play exclusively in handheld AHAHAHAHA but guess it's fine at least I have the option to, whenever I want to...
I play 50/50 between both for Animal Crossing. It just depends on where I am in my house (upstairs or basement = handheld, main floor = TV). Although Xenoblade on the other hand is a different story
My boyfriend got the switch for me for our 2 year anniversary and he got me the yellow handheld bc I asked for that one specifically. I have such tiny hands I need the handheld lol!
Have a regular switch but I am playing handheld. I got so used to 3DS and my family share the TV so I feel like playing the game in my room is much more comfortable.
I do docked whenever I'm home, and handheld whenever I go somewhere. Definitely prefer docked though, since I'm a victim of the joy-con drift in handheld mode. Thank the lord for the pro controller or I probably wouldn't even be playing this game anymore.
I play solely in handheld mode. I’ve tried playing Animal Crossing (and other games!) on my TV before but it makes me feel sick. I’m so happy the Switch has a handheld mode.
