3 years ...but im back and need help with my island!

Hey so I just recently bought a new switch lite (The zelda one!) and I was gonna play my original island on my switch 1 but, I decided to start over on my lite! Can I get some tips on how to speed up the beginning of the game? Possibly items too? I especially wanna catalog the zelda items. I can't visit my 1st switch island so..

Try tting? Otherwise I don't really know what to do. I would try to get a house as quick as possible, but really, it's your choice. Try going to NMT islands to get materials when you need them. Just know that I was recently going through this part as well so you're not alone. Really, I would just play through at my own pace.

To be honest, I'm rushing myself to get the campsite because I'm getting a Tangy Amiibo and I need the campsite to use it. Don't feel bad if you rush yourself.

I just restarted too and set my clock back a couple of weeks from real time then basically played one day and TT to the next so the beginning didn't take as long.
