I don't get why so many people have no reg trees, the cherry blossoms don't bloom on fruit trees! I've been doing some landscaping lately. Adding more trees.

This is so weird the same thing happened to me. I didn't have any tree eggs, rock eggs or ground eggs. I've done the Easter event twice before so IDK why this year none showed up.
I'm having the same problem, I have the feeling it's probably because I time-skipped but I'm not so sure because I saw other people saying on the thread they had no such luck either, even without time-skipping. I guess it's just randomly generated or a glitch in game, i'm not really all that bothered by it though, because I can probably get some items from the egg set from here, for what I hope isn't a ridiculous price D:

Yeah I think eggs can be collected through the sky, ground, deep sea diving, fishing, rock hitting etcetera. I didn't participate in mine since my whole town is covered in paths and I usually never have my tools handy xD
hi, done bunny day so i'll tell you how to get the eggs.
ground egg; dig up all of the 'X's, and there should be a lot buried. do not dig up any non-'X's. that'll just waste your time.
rock egg; hit all of the rocks. literally, just hit all of the rocks, just to be sure. hit all of the nearest rocks with your shovel and the fake ones should break and leave a rock egg. WARNING: i HIGHLY suggest breaking all of them before 6 am, because there's a chance the fake rocks will turn into permanent ones!
tree egg; shake the non-fruit trees. if you don't wanna encounter bees, go to the train station and open gates up for nearby towns. hives will not appear while you have gates open, so go nuts.
fish egg; self-explanatory. go fishing! i believe the egg will be an average-sized fish.
as for the time-travelling situation, i'm not sure how to fix that since i haven't time-traveled yesterday... try reverting time to 3 / 26, 5:57 am and save & quit as soon as you start up your character. wait a few minutes until 6 am, and then launch the game again. it should work, but i'm not sure.
sky egg; shoot down the presents from the sky with your slingshot and the sky egg will be inside. this will also count for the slingshot badge, so go nuts.
diving egg; go diving in the ocean. the diving egg will be a small, unmoving spot near the shore. dive in and you should get your diving egg.
