First time collecting eggs frustration!

I have had new leaf since it came out but never actually partaken in bunny day.
I have shaken all of the fruit off my trees and no eggs have fallen. I have also tried re shaking.
Do the palm trees count? I can't find any.
I have dug up all of the Xs looking for underground eggs and nothing has shown. I have tried digging random holes too. Please help!

Tree eggs will be in the regular trees (the ones you shake for Bells and bees); not in fruit trees. I have no idea why you can't find the Earth eggs, though.

I don't know, but you have to have regular trees in your town in order to get the Tree eggs.

Then you either have to miss out or have somebody give you tree eggs. I can probably give you some.

I already turned in all of my Tree and Earth eggs to Zipper this morning. Chop down some of the fruit trees and replace them with regular ones for next year, though.

I have hit all of the rocks repeatedly and it's the only egg I need now thanks to skweekzers
It's finding very difficult to find (why do I suck at this -_- )

I have tried saving and then re loading the game. All of the rocks I have in my town are permanent ones and I'm only getting pill bugs from them

That's very strange. Usually that only happens when you have time travelled recently. Are you sure you have hit all of them?

And the rock will appear aging to hit more
And also the dig spot

Yes I'm still trying there is about 6 of them and I have hit them all multiple times. It's driving me nuts
