Favorite bushes?

I'm having a problem deciding which of the bush types to use in Noctua, so I'd like to hear your opinions P:

Visually my favorites are hydrangeas. Not sure if I should use them though, since they bloom in the summer and I think my town looks best during spring. In that case, azaleas would fit better. I also like autumn and winter, so sweet olives and holly bushes would work as well. I just don't like summer much.

There are also hibiscus, they look nice but they also bloom in the summer.

Which ones are your favorites? Do you use only a certain type or do you mix them up in your town?

My favourite bushes are holly and sweet-olive! I have different shrubs for different areas, and I don't mix and match. Eg. the area right behind town hall is all sweet-olive (actually most of my town is sweet olive), which looks so beautiful right now in the autumn. The right side of my town is all holly, in front of town hall is pink azalea, etc etc.

I love hydrangeas, I think the pink and blue look really lovely when in an alternating pattern. That's what I plan to fill most of my town with. I actually started planting some last year but since they're not in bloom right now I can't remember what I colour I started with so I need to wait looool

Other than those, I love red hibiscus. I have a few red/yellow flower arrangements in some areas so I'll probably put the hibiscus near those, though I'm unsure if I'll ever plant yellow ones. I'll see how it looks next summer.

I prefer white azaleas, but I use different bushes for my towns.
In Sapphire, I'm mainly using blue hydrangeas with a bit of the pink variant mixed in.
In Ruby, I'm only using holly bushes.
And in my new town Amestris, I'm planning to use white azaleas.

I went crazy over the sweet olives when they had the little white flowers on them though. Ended up planting them everywhere. Lol!
I'm going to remove a few for holly bushes soon. I think I want to keep changing it up depending on the season. Gives me something to do!

I think I like the red hibiscus bush the best. I actually love the summer in ACNL

My favorite bushes are probably holly, although I also use other warm-colored bushes, such as sweet olive and hibiscus, as well. I do really like hydrangea, honestly, both in real life and in ACNL, but they just don't fit in with my town.

I'd say pick colors and then go on from there. It makes it somewhat easier to make things fit. Also, factor in leaf color and such, because all of the bushes have different leaves.
