I do not run in my town very much. I absolutely hate grass wear, and I have a bunch of it everywhere. But I do run in Main Street and on concrete because that doesn't affect anything. x3
I only run on the beach and on the concrete in the plaza and the trainstation. And nowadays there are enough flowers on my beach that I don't want to run on it >.>
I run all the time Sometimes I destroy hybrids though, but it really doesn't matter as long as I'm in my town.
I don't run in other peoples towns though.
I have a LOT of hybrids, but I still run in my town... lol. I probably shouldn't but oh well. I'm really careful though and I only accidentally run in them a few times.
Like most other people, I run on my paths. Occassionally I'll trample a flower when I'm not careful enough, but I can live with that. I don't run in other people's towns unless they tell me I can.
I don't have paths or anything set up so I'm not so worried about picking those up. I also haven't really worked on trying to breed flowers either so I'm not so worried about flowers either. I run if I really want to get somewhere quickly, otherwise I usually go pretty slowly.
In my town, running isn't allowed unless I have paths (which I don't). I've been waiting until all my villagers move in to lay paths. Right now, my town is filled with flowers that just grew over time as I didn't breed them. So when I need to go somewhere, I'm just running around hoping to "remove" them. Soon I'll just take them and sell them.
I run along my paths, particularly the one from dock to R-Tail. I don't pick up tiles as I start running - so guess that problem has been fixed between this version & acww/city folk.
I sometimes run. My paths are usually okay and bordered by bushes, but in some places I only have one-tile paths. I don't run there beause its wayyyy too easy to destroy my flowers.
I only make my pathways at least 2 or 3 tiles wide, so I run a lot. Unless I'm having an unlucky day. I tell people visiting that the van run except in a few places where I am growing rare flowers.
