Anyone feel like their town is officially "finished"?

Woah, congrats on achieving a finished town! I'll definitely check it out later!
My town is still well in progress. I have my whole town planned, although I know my ideas will change along the way ^^
I still need a lot of PWPs to be recommended, and a few dream villagers (although I did achieve another yesterday! I've been resetting Fauna's plot for 11 hours actually ;o; she is unbelievably stubborn...) I'm kind of nervous when it comes to finishing my town, because I'm worried that I'll lose motivation to play. But at the same time, I'd really enjoy spending time in my finished town, so it's a little of both!

Anyway congratulations again, enjoy yourself c:

Congrats on finishing your town! I just need like, two more exterior renovations for one of my houses then I'll be done too. Hoping to get them within the next few days so I can update my dream town before the end of hydrangea season :) after this I'll just have my catalog, museum/encyclopedia, and badges to work on.

Congrats on completing your town! :D

I've been working really hard on my town during the past month, so I think it's safe to say that my town is almost "finished" (except for my house which is a huge mess).

Congrats! I keep resetting so I'm very far from my finished town ;n; Oh well... I hope you enjoy life in your swanky finished town cx

Once again…Congratulations!

[To Candy83] I can order you a cash register if you'd like. Let me know. :)

LyraVale,

I was able to get one Thursday [07.03.2014] night.

I just did an update to the Dream Address of my original town Applewin. (Kathy's redecorated house is included. She mentions it in her greeting.)

I will visit your town, LyraVale, to see how it feels.

Once again?Congratulations!

Grats on finishing your town! I can only imagine how satisfying that must feel. :)

My town is still far from finished, but I can probably get a lot done this summer! My house is still only half finished, too.. I use about half of it for storage, which does not look pretty. :p

I feel like my town is finished, but of course that doesn't stop me to continue with playing :)

Hmm.. The left upper corner is almost done! It's around my house. But, that's everything. xd I have so much work to do.

I'm still working on getting a town of 10 villagers that I really like and want to keep. I'm literally refusing to let myself start decorating until I've finished with my villagers.

even though my town needs a bit of work with organizing flowers, I'd say it's perfect and everything I wanted. The bridges, though - I wish I had the Fairy Tale bridges. That is what I'll get next.

Aw you have Carmen too! She's my town mascot, bff, and absolute favorite! lol...I have the fairytale theme, and she's my peppy, so she's the one that gave it to me. I'm sure she'll give you your bridge too, hopefully soon. :D

IKR?! lol, I want to move on to focusing more on Disney Magical and Tomodachi Life, but UGH, I keep finding little things to do around ACNL still! I can't believe this game has kept my interest for almost an entire year! Btw, your town looks awesome! I love Drago! If I could have had 15 villagers, he'd be one of them.

No problem. Let me know if you need anything else. :) I dreamt of your town, and it's so pretty! I'm sad cuz Stitches didn't recognize me, even though he's in my town too. :c But Julian did! lol, I love when they recognize you and make a comment about how you're dreaming.

Hehe, yup, you guys are right, it never finishes! I keep finding little things to change. I even landscaped my island! Originally, I had cut down EVERYTHING but 2 palm trees for bug catching, and it was so ugly there. Now it's a beautiful island again! The only thing is that since it's summer, I don't really feel a need to go to the island. But I know in the winter, it'll really feel like a vacay. XD

Island landscaping, if anyone's interested is pretty limited.
Fruit and flowers from tours, hibiscus bushes from the island shop, and a silver axe from the island shop to make some cute stumps to sit on. Anything you can put on your body, like clothes, accessories, wet suit, or HYBRID flowers (!), you can transport from home to the island. It's a tiny tiny piece of land, so it really doesn't take much to make it a vibrant beautiful retreat. :)

Ahhhh, I LOVE your island landscaping ideas, they're so creative, good job! Makes me wanna try it now :)

My town is over a year old now and I feel that it's complete *fingers crossed* I still have a few things left to catch for the museum as I got lazy when Pokemon came out last year, and I'm working on slowly getting all the gold badges. I have seven permanent villagers and three that I'll eventually let move in the future, that way there'll be some new faces every now and again to keep things fresh! ^_^

Thanks! Ya, I hope the ideas help. It's nice not to have a creepy island anymore. XD

I still need to work on my gold fishing badge. I'm not worried about it, because I'm pretty close. I just casually fish every once in a while. It's the last gold badge I'll probably ever get, so I almost feel like I'm stalling a bit. Is that weird? lol The streetpass gold badge, I HIGHLY doubt I'll get, but I'm close to silver on that. I wish I could get all of them. I looked into homepassing, but it's so complicated!! I'm not smart enough for that one.

And I totally agree that new villagers are nice. They always refresh the game. I can't imagine living without any of my current 10. But I do get cute campers once in a while and I spend time with them. Or in dreams, I like when people have rare villagers. There's so many aspects of this game that I enjoy, I doubt I'll ever run out of things to do. :)

Congrats on finishing! I feel I'm almost done, still have 3 PWP I want to place (which haven't been suggested yet) and I think I am done with flowers. - My entire town is covered and organised how I want as of yesterday. =D Though I have 2 annoying bushes that won't grow and then my entire outdoors will be done, villagers and all. =D

But I do still have to sort stuff in my house after pulling apart 2 of my rooms last week and then I want to get all the badges eventually. O: (and I still have some fishing and bugs to get along with that) So in that respect I'm nowhere near finished.

Not. Even. Close.

Still need to get one more villager in, no permanently set demolishable PWPs placed (some no entry signs out, but they're solely so villagers won't plant houses in those areas and will all be removed once I get villager #10), and I'm pretty sure about 80% of my mainland flowers will be trashed/moved when I start doing serious landscaping (as I only want roses). Also, I'm going to unquestionably get "town a ****" from citizen satisfaction once I start rearranging trees aka CUT DOWN EVERYTHING NOT SINGLE PERFECT APPLE TREE NEXT TO BULLETIN BOARD OR TROPICAL TREES LEADING TO DOCK. Not to mention shrubs. Will need to start stockpiling on those and/or bulk order when I get closer to point of serious landscaping.

Plus there's the matter of finishing paying off 2 more characters houses and finishing decorating for everyone.

I don't think I could ever be fully finished. I would have to re landscape every so often or completely change up the houses and things like that. I think I would get bored if my town was the same from a certain point on.
