I just saved my ultimate, super final dream version!

I'll definitely keep playing still, cuz I love my villagers. But I don't have too much more to do, except just enjoy the town I've made for myself. It's a little bittersweet! I planned exactly what I wanted and, after a year of hard work, I finally feel like I accomplished it, so I won't be changing anything from now on.

Is anyone else feeling like they no longer need to put a WIP disclaimer on their dream town? How do you feel about it? Do you want me to check out your dream? Do you think you'll change it? What do you do in your town now that you're "finished"? :D

not in the slightest. my town needs a ton of work and a lot of my ideas aren't final.

Congrats on finishing and being happy with your town! ^_^
I've just recently reset so mines far from finished. I keep changing my paths so they're dotted all over and I'm too lazy to correct them atm hahaha. I can't wait until I'm completely happy with how my town is. I'd love to be proud of it and show it off!

I've sort of lost confidence in my town after some pretty harsh critics too. I'll keep working on it, but I doubt I'll show it off ever again.

Oh no! Critics can be so mean but to be honest, I doubt their town is any good. It's your town and you can do what you like with it, people have different opinions and I bet your town is lovely! ^_^

There's critics? What fun. Honestly, this game is all about your personal preferences and what you like. Critics don't change that. Why did you allow them to speak to you that way, anyway?

1 last dreamie to move from cycle town! Remodeling my town to a super gold theme! ONLY paths, gold roses and houses

I'm so far from finished, I've got a bajillion things to do! But hey, you've got to enjoy the journey, so you can reap the destination. Enjoy your "retirement" as it is. :)

I'd love to see your town if you'd be so kind as to let me. My town of Haven has gold paths and roses as well and it took me three tries to get the pathways the same gold colour seen on the roses. Each design took hours to shade in and I'm still not happy with them tbh, even after spending so many hours on them.

Aw, I'm sorry that someone ruined it for you. :'c Don't let them though! It's your town and you are the only one that it has to please. I'm sure TONS of people would have negative opinions about my town...in fact just from reading polls and forum posts about other people's towns, I can tell you I've done a lot of things people don't usually like (lots of paths, lots of hoarding, not a natural looking town). Lol, I don't care! I love my town anyway! Please don't give up on what you love, you'll have more fun if you make your town uniquely your own. :D

I did a gold house, with a gold room...and for the most part I love it. The only thing I don't 100% love is the gold house exterior. I went through a lot of trouble to get it, so it really felt like an accomplishment. But it could definitely be cuter. It's more of a "brown" house than a "gold" house. :/ Anyway, after I did it, I read that you can just order the same set for each room and felt so dumb for how much trouble I went through. lol...if you haven't done it yet, hope that helps somehow.

Hehe, retired...I feel so old! The journey was so fun! This is the best game ever. I really don't want to ever stop playing it. :)

Aah, I started the game later than a lot of people (got it for my B-day in september) so I'm not done yet, but lately I've been feeling like I am starting to achieve something! I'm getting there. My town looks like something I might even enjoy dreaming about, which is nice. Mostly what is blocking me are inhabitants that won't move, and inhabitants that won't request their PWPs. Gimme the log bench dammit!
But yeah, I'm finally feeling like I might actually make it, someday.

Also, congrats on making it! That is a huge accomplishment! If you're looking for things to do, you could start organizing little events in your dream town. I remember someone organized an egg hunt in theirs, where the first person to send them a picture of all the eggs won something. I thought it was a cute idea!
Or, you know, kick up your legs, sit on your favorite PWP with your favorite villager, and enjoy the high life ;)

Well, I'm too lazy to do a huge giveaway, but I think it would be fun to start helping others more with their towns. I feel like I've experienced a lot of different situations/problems in the game and maybe can give advice if anyone wants my 2 cents. XD

You probably already know this, but the log bench is requested by uchi villagers. I'd advise you to do the swimming trick, then hide from everyone else when you come out except your uchi. Just make sure she's out and sort of know where she is before you go swimming. Let me know if you don't know what the swimming trick is, and I'll be glad to explain more. :)

EDIT: Just noticed on your sig that you're still looking for an uchi dreamie, right? If you don't have one yet, that might be why no one's asked for the log bench! XD

I haven't felt that yet. In a way I wish I would, there's still so many things I have left to do... on the other hand, I like having stuff to do and goals to set myself. I probably won't have a truly finished town for the longest time because there's a few villagers I plan on letting go of and rotating, I only want a few permanent villager just to mix things up.

Yeh I know about the PWPs and swimming trick, don't worry! I need a whole bunch of PWPs still, tho the log bench is high on my priority list. But yeah, I currently don't have an Uchi in my town (shouldn't have let Canberra leave) so no way to get it, for now.
My villagers have been pretty moot about giving me PWPs tho, I'm mad at my two Peppies especially because they always ping but never for PWPs ?_?

Ah well, my first priority right now is to get the unwanted villagers out, so I can at least get started on one half of my town. Wish me luck! *Goes to glare at Apple from afar so she packs her bags*

Congratulations on your finish!
I just started my town over a month ago, so obviously I'm not even close! I'm still waiting for 7 more dream villagers to one day find, and for villagers to suggest certain Public Works Projects. There's a lot still left that I have to accomplish. ; u ;

Congratulations for your town, LyraVale!

My original town of Applewin is finished. The outside. But, I just redecorated secondary human Kathy's house. I may also redo secondary human Nick's house. In Mayor Jill's Fairy-Tale theme house, the back room may get a redo for some Mermaid furniture. Maybe. Maybe not. This game is so time-consuming that, whatever imperfections (and however so slight), may not be worth my effort. It is a beautiful town. And, while I'm still trying to get a Cash Register for Kathy's Cafe-themed main room, I will hold off a little bit until I update the Dream Address for Applewin. (In the Dream Address sequence, Kathy's house is still bare in some rooms. Or near to being bare.)

(I should visit your town in a Dream Address sequence. Kathy's house was worked on me yesterday [07.02.2014]. A couple touches today [07.03.2014] were added to her house. And if I can get a Cash Register to place on her Checkout Counter, I will do a Dream Address update.)

I'd say my town is 95% done. All I really need to do is get a few more hybrids for some incomplete arrangements I have and work on the houses for my second and third character, though that will take a while because I've hardly expanded them and I am currently working on saving 100 million bells on my main character for the badge.

However, I won't consider my town fully complete until I have grown the big tree as much as possible, which I believe takes 500 days and 500 hours. I also won't feel "done" until I have got all the gold badges, except maybe streetpass because you don't get it through gameplay.

I can order you a cash register if you'd like. Let me know. :)

Oh, I didn't think about the tree. lol, oh well...mine's still gotten pretty full, but yeah I'm not near 500 days. I still want to try for the gold SP badge too...but that's probably a dream. I think I'm pretty close to silver. I really doubt I'll ever get gold, unless I buy another DS and then SP with my sad lonely self. XD
