Like the time stamps on forum posts, the displayed time should adjust to your time zone (or the one set in your preferences) automatically.

I think it is a little confusing as the closing time is shown as 7.09 pm. No Timezone is stated so presume it’s est?

it shows 2:09pm for me. that means it closes at 7:09pm your time haha

Just curious, since this event changed from being based solely on community vote to staff nomination followed community vote, is there a reason there aren’t staff nomination prizes? I know I’m not the only person who was wondering about this, so thought I’d ask publicly, so others with the same question can see the answer.

I don’t think it was changed at all. The Egg Decorating contests were always staff nominated then community vote with no staff nomination prizes iirc

Looked for the 1st egg decorating contest, I did find that nominees got 50 bells + 4 egg currency as nomination prizes.
2nd egg decorating contest has no nomination prize.
However the format in how the nominees were chosen have always been staff nomination followed by community vote.

So many great entries! I had a tough time deciding which I'd vote for, there was such variety.
