The one event where we have to pick two of our best/favorite rooms made me really want to see what other rooms you all have done and like. It doesn't have to be from the same player/house, as I have a lot of rooms that I'm happy with how they turned out. Sometimes a random thought occurred and I just needed to create a room and other times I wanted to replicate a place or idea from a story I created. Or in two cases below from a game lol.

I tried to recreate the club from Mother 3 with Duster and his Pigmask fanboy

Mr. Bear is dutifully guarding the cell.

I tried to make that one place in Mother 3 where it's nothing but bathrooms

Is that something the rooms actually say if you add too much? I need to just start randomly throwing stuff in until it reaches that critical state if that is something lol.

It probably helps that I have the rooms upgraded to the final 3rd version. I couldn't do anything with the first or second. There's barely any room in those tiers.

it was so fun to revisit this house. I haven't changed a thing since I last played around 2014-15.

entry room:

i wish we had some of these items in new horizons, particularly the array of indoor plants and the bug furniture. also new leaf had so many pikmin items!! we need more!!

I love how I decorated my New Leaf houses, so I'm glad to have some photos of them for posterity! ;v; I probably won't be visiting them much anymore after online goes down (and I stop a moving villager) so I won't have to worry about unexpected move-outs, so it's nice to have these to look back on! You may spot a number of teddy bears scattered throughout. I initially had plans to use every possible teddy bear size/customization in the game (minus clothing) but I just didn't have room for it in the end. ;w; Most of them live in one of my external storage units Museum exhibits now.
Here's the entry/living room of my main house!

The kitchen! I wanted it to have a little bit of one of those pantry/food storage room vibes too, in addition to the cute baked goods.

Main bedroom! I centered it mostly around the blue and gold Rococo set because I adore it.

And my enchanted forest basement! I needed somewhere for my mushroom furniture and more whimsical items.

Going along with the church theme, I also made a soup kitchen!

And finally, the basement is a smithy/armory! I love the armor/weapons items and needed a good place to display all of them ahaha.

Wow you two have such lovely set-ups!

I love how the entry room looks like a greenhouse guava and how you utilized so many plants in all of your rooms. And there are a lot of different things I miss. Like stacking more fruit in NL gives you a fruit basket.

I really like how you used the mannequins for stand-ins Meri. I did that with a lot of my rooms to. It's one of the things I miss that NH left out. I get that there is the wand now, but I used them for purposes they weren't intended for. Your rooms are very nice and I like the themes you went with!
