How many island medals do you have?

Basically what the title says~ I'm curious to know how many medals everyone has!

I had around 2,500 the last time I checked.

Yeah... I play the tours all the time with people and I never spend them. ;-;

0, since I haven't unlocked the island yet. I think the most I've had at one time was two hundred and something.

I've decided that once I unlock the island, I'll earn enough medals to buy a wetsuit and that's it until summer next year (assuming I'm still playing, I hope so). I'll still use the island to catch beetles to sell though.

Yeah, 5000 medals.
The 1500 one already burnt me out since I don't really enjoy tours anyway.
