Don't you hate when villagers move out when they don't tell you?

You can get them back through trading no problem, I would have had Zell back by now seeing as I had more than enough to offer the person selling him.
It's this silly 16 villager cycle thing. Why was that put in place?
Guess I kind of understand it....if it was something like a 4 villager cycle we would be having the same old villagers returning all the time.
But I really wish they'd shorted it a little at least. When you've only got one villager who is unwanted it is basically impossible to ever cycle through 16.
So I'll never get him back unless I get him on this new town I'm doing.
Really wish we had more control....

Usually if you haven't talking to your villager for over a week they won't ping you that they're moving

I speak every day with all of them so I've not had this problem yet.
