I was just wondering how many people here actually post in their blogs on this web site in the blog section of their profile. Also does anyone else ever read them? I was considering posting in mine regularly and treating it as a sort of Twitter or Facebook or something, for my game. It seems pretty pointless if there's never going to be a chance anyone will read them though..

What do you think? Good idea or bad idea?

I don't, and I'm pretty sure nobody reads them either.

It's a nice feature, though. I just don't think a lot of people know that it's there.

I rarely post in there. People do read the posts, as you can tell by the comments.

I read them if I notice them being posted or commented on when scrolling through the "what's new" tab (which shows all publicly viewable content on the site). I don't think I've gone searching for blogs to read here, and I wouldn't go searching for them anywhere else, either. But if I find one I like (here or elsewhere) then I'll subscribe and also keep an eye out for updates.

If you want to blog your gameplay progress for yourself and anyone who's interested then I'd go for it. If there needs to be an audience to make it worthwhile for you then I'd go elsewhere for that, just because blogs aren't a priority here.
