Lol, good one.

America has built up an irrational fear of communism over the course of the cold war. Obviously, I'm not implying that the US should be communistic, but it's that whenever we see a communist country, we instantly view them negatively.

So whenever Democrats try to do anything that Republicans think is too liberal, they play the "OMG WE'RE TURNING SOCIALIST!" card and scare everyone. It's a disgustingly shallow scare tactic.
And with Democrats, the fallback scare tactic is THE GOVERNMENT IS BEING CENTRALIZED!
Lol, we don't need a scare tactic becuse we rule the roost. B)

@Pootman- I agree 100%
I was just saying that you can't say that the Republicans rely on scare tactics, because Democrats do them too.
Touche.

Politics are interesting to me, but I don't support any particular party, just the candidates themselves. I find that no having a party makes it easier to see what the individuals are about.

But, when you have a party affiliation it's easier to get in senseless arguments with random people. :p

*Realizes he has made much spam, leaves thread*

One of the reason why I don't have a party right there.
No "UR PARTY SUCKS! FLAEM FLAEM!"
And no, this isn't spam, it's a conversation about politics, which is mostly on topic.

ON TUESDAYS WHEN HE'S NOT AT A PRESS CONFERENCE!

I hate my school district. They didn't let us see it.
If parents don't want their kids to see it, the kids can leave while they're showing the speech. It's not the school board's or other parent's rights to tell me what I can and can't watch.
