Who wants to live forever?

HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELL NO!!!!

Death is what makes life so good. (Well not for me really, but for happy people)
My personal life is barely worth the 80ish years its probably given really.

Death is the ultimate motivator and it gives value to everything.

What makes 25 years of marriage more valuable then the fact you just gave 25% of your LIFE to somebody? I mean seriously. Without death, everything would lose value. You would have nothing to live for. You could always do it tomorrow. Or not. Won`t matter. Its not like someday you can`t anymore.

i definitely couldn't deal with watching everyone i love die.
BUTTTTTTT on the other hand, if i never died, i could be shipped out into space and explore forever and never worry.
or just explore the ocean idek.

not being able to die would be the worst thing ever
like if you got stuck underneath a huge boulder and you had to spend the rest of eternity slowly trying to crawl out
or being stuck in space with no possible way of travelling around (you'd literally be floating in space)
or just drowning and staying in the bottom of the ocean like c'mon that'd be torture

It depends. The world would get over populated, but I could see the new technoligies. Scientists are actually trying to reverse life so we look young, not old.

No. Mainly because I do not want to see the world's downfall. I want to die while it's in it's prime and live in bliss.

Stupid answer, but the thought of war scares me. The fact that it is currently going on scares me even more.

Some people wish for immortality because they don't wish to experience death. But I don't want to be old forever.

no bc i don't wanna live to see my friends and family die
also to see the downfall of humanity
i don't wanna live to be rly rly old either, like, to the point where i can't get up/shower/use the bathroom/etc on my own
like there's really no point to living once you can't do the basic things so
i'll die before then lol

I had to.

On a serious note, I probably wouldn't. I'm a very spiritual person and I do believe that there is a place we go when we die. I'm not at all religious, but I am very spiritual. For that reason, I think I'd just let my time come. I would, however, want to live as long as possible. I love life.

They are pretty close already to a pill you can take from young age, expanding your life so you can become 120. That pill should be around in a few decades I estimate.

It means you will not just live longer, you will stay fit for longer. Ofcourse the aging is still inevitable.

I agree about overpopulation btw. We already have a lot of shortages in the world, most notable water. Not to mention the problems dense population can cause. Although that will probably bring out some horrible type of epidemic.

this is a very hard decision.
on one hand, living forever would mean not dying until "the end", whenever and whatever that is. i'm so afraid of death to where i get anxious and irrational just thinking about it.
on the other hand, watching my loved ones die would be an extremely painful experience. again, death is just a terrible thing for me to think about. i don't think i'd ever be able to recover from someone like my mother dying, even if it is from natural causes. times that by all of my relatives, friends, etc and my "immortal" life would be one full of fear, maximum depression, and wandering. not a very good existence, if you ask me.
still, i think i'd like to see how things pan out. i'd like to meet new people and play with new technological devices. (i just don't want all the bad things mentioned before to go with it, you feel?)

The reason I wouldn't want to live forever is because, no matter what happened to you physically, you wouldn't be able to die. If the world ended, what would happen? Would parts of you just be floating around? That's the one thing I wouldn't like. I'd like to live until that point.

I wouldn't want to live *forever* but I wouldn't turn down a longer life span if it meant seeing some pretty cool things. Living forever would just mean that I'd have to stop caring about people, because I'd just lose them anyway, and that would wear most people down after a few decades or centuries, I think.

Yeah. I don't like the fact that we will be around forever. I would not want that, with the world today and everything going down. I'd actually like to die when.. I do so to speak.

I don't know really. On one hand, I would hate to see all of my loved ones die, but on the other hand I'm scared of dying my self.
