Who are the best (and worst) duck villagers? 🦆

i like bill the best! i find his simple design super cute, and love his personality!!

the worst id have to say freckles, im sorry, she just looks so off. her design couldve been improved, like why are her eyes so far apart that they look like they’re falling off her head? just weird.

My favorite Duck villager is Gloria. I like her Snooty personality, her makeup gives her a distinct look, and I like her purple hair. She's a resident of one of my New Leaf towns.

Mallary, Miranda, and Molly are pretty good too, and I like Drake for his mallard coloration.

As for least favorite, I have a lot of contenders. I don't like Deena, Freckles, Joey, Ketchup, or Pate's designs much at all. It's probably either Deena or Freckles.

i didn’t realize how much i liked the duck villagers until this poll aha but they’re honestly adorable! a lot of them are great but my personal favourites are molly, ketchup, joey, miranda, scoot, pate and bill!

quillson is definitely the worst imo; not a huge fan of the smugs or his design. >_<

Quillson is the best duck. He was our first camper and while I was suspicious at first, he's grown to be maybe my favorite villager.

He also happened to be my birthday guide.

I like Joey best. I've never had him as a villager, but I would be very tempted to kick someone out for him. That would probably never happen because I never get rid of villagers.

For me Molly, Bill and Ketchup are the best duckies. I really want to have Ketchup on my island at some point.

Honourable mention goes to Mallary, because I think she's adorable too.

My least favourite is Quillson and Derwin...

Got a love Molly she is such a simple and classic design but also Ketchup is adorable and Scoot he’s so cute with his helmet. Honestly I don’t hate any of the duck designs

Ducks are so adorable because of how smol they are here were my votes:

Males

• Scoot: I love his shade of green, his pink cheeks and how he wears what looks like a diaper on his head lol (I understand it's a helmet but seriously tho, diaper lol)
• Joey: he little and he yellow, and again diaper lol and I find his eyebrows weirdly fascinating to look at.
• Bill: he's another really cute duck! I like the tuft of feathers on his head.

Females:

• Molly: she's cute, what can I say? I like how she looks like a classic duck.
• Mallary: the only other female duck who is not hideous to look at.

Worst ducks imo are Drake (he looks perpetually sick) Gloria/Maelle/Miranda (too much makeup) Freckles/Pompom (what were they THINKING??)

Ketchup is the best duck to me. I love her big eyes, and her overall look is adorable. She is also a peppy, so that is a big plus for me since I love the peppies. I got her last summer and I wasn't planning to keep her, but she grew on me so much. She is a sweetheart, and I find her playfulness adorable.

The rest of the ducks are hit or miss for me.

I have always had a soft spot for Derwin. He was a starter in New Leaf, and I almost invited him to New Horizons when he was a random campsite visitor. He looks so adorable!

The worst would be Scoot. I don’t hate him, but I think his design could be a lot better.

Best- Ketchup, by far. I love the food themed animals. A lot <3
Worst- Has to be quillson. He's a smug (which i can't stand) and he's ugly. Pom Pom is also not my favorite either.

I'm sad Deena is not in the list
For me, eyes are important, and I always take great care of a villager with good eyes in my opinion. Molly is very cute and has nice colour! Pate is a little bit strange maybe if you consider her eyebrows but she's still cute and I love her blue coulour.
However, my favourite is Freckles. I have her amiibo and will invite her for sure one day! My grandmother said she was cute when I open the cards (and said she was ugly) and I finally changed my mind. Now I love her. Don't ask me why.

Worst could be Quillson because I hate his hair and Maelle and Gloria for the same reason. Derwin's face is as well weird in my opinion.

Ketchup is like one of my top two favorite villagers in animal crossing of all time. I love this tomato duck and fortunately also have her amiibo card so I can invite her whenever I want.

my least favorite duck is probably quillson because he has a very weird shade of green...I also don’t really like it when the animals have hair so I think it would def take me some time to actually grow to like him

Bill's my best buddy. He's one of my starter villagers and the only one as of now who has not moved away. At first I did not like him that much but he grew on me and is such a cheery jock. Especially cute when he runs around the village!

Least favourite... not really fond of Drake's or Derwin's design so I'd go with these.

I really don't like the duck villagers, in general. I've had Freckles and Gloria in my old New Leaf town, and did not really like either of them. I especially disliked Freckles because she moved in a terrible spot, and then wouldn't move out for the longest time. I haven't had to deal with her for a while, so I don't dislike her as much as I used to, but I guess she's still my least favorite.

My favorite is Pate. While I usually dislike it when villagers don't look like their personality types, Pate is SO un-peppy that it loops around from being unacceptable to amazing. I also like that in her original GC home, she's got a perfectly normal setup... but with screaming gyroids and K.K. Dirge playing in the background. She's totally a secret serial killer. I'm just disappointed that they changed her default song in later games. Seriously, they messed up.
