Where do you get the most streetpasses?

I need to start taking my DS to London with me...I did actually when I went to see Ed Sheeran but I didn't have it on sleep mode...damn.

I live in Essex, England and I've only ever gotten 2 streetpasses one was in Brentwood (TOWIE anyone?) and the other was just today in Basildon town centre. I aways get way over excited when I streetpass someone!

Oh wow, in London/Slough I get so many, plus my other DS and my brothers DS we get like 13.

I walked around Manhattan, NYC and kept having to street pass because I'd constantly have the limit of 10 at my gate. I streetpassed with about 200 at a video game convention few weeks back. And I always streetpass with at least two or three people when I go to my university.

I go to London quite a lot so I'm going to make sure I have my DS on sleep mode next time I go. I guess there just aren't that many people over this side that play it? Or maybe they are like me and just forget to have their DS on sleep mode

The most I have ever gotten was during 'Nintendo Day' last November. Walking around the city and the malls is also good and especially the movies when there is a discount.

You'll definitely get a lot at conventions. Oddly enough (to me, anyway), I've gotten street passes at movie theaters. I think I get the most when I go to the premier midnight showing (or now, premier 8 PM showing), but I still get a few at regular showings too.

Like others have said, you can also often get them at school. Though, at my college I was usually notified about Pok?mon more than anything.

I'm going to start taking my 3DS to my local gaming store when I go for Dungeons & Dragons night (which is also a night people come in for Magic: The Gathering drafts and Yu-Gi-Oh!, just to play). I'll try to remember to edit this or post again to let everyone know if I get any from that, but I'm doubting they'll be many for ACNL.

If you're planning on going to gaming stores (or even comic book stores, I think), it doesn't hurt to take your 3DS in general.

I went to Vidcon in 2013 and only brought it for one day, but there were so many Streetpasses!!

I got mine at high school! There were a few people that must have brought their 3DS to school often (and had AC:NL) because I streetpassed a few people multiple times (which got me a few of the cute streetpass items)

Other than that, I imagine you'd get a good number of streetpasses at a convention of some sort. (I just briefly scrolled down and looked at the most recent replies and it seems that yes this is true!)

I've gotten multiple from my local supermarket lol. But usually when I'm in big retail stores or the city. Any large city. :>

Edit: also once when I was staying at a hotel. The nice family including a married couple, their son and daughter in a table in front of us exhanged streetpasses two times with both of my 3DSs. xP

I get mine from airports, malls and basically places where there's tons of kids or people who obviously look like they're ready to play a round of a pokemon battle. Also leave your 3ds on while going to the mall because you'll get streetpasses and play coins.

Hmm. when I was in high school, I'd get 10 streetpasses a day but i've been out of high school for a year now. I'll occasionally take my ds to the mall and i'll get a few from there.
