Where do you get the most streetpasses?

I just take it everywhere and I get tons of streetpasses.
The city definitely is great and usually at the mall I get a lot too.

School, the Mall, Gamestop/game stores, the usual. I get the most at School though, at LEAST 5 for New Leaf and 14 in total.
(but rip the mii plaza only holds 10 so rip 4)

I get most of mine from Nintendo Zone places, like coffee shops and McDonald's etc. There's a large service station near where I live that I always get 5+ tags from when I visit. In the school holidays I get tags every day if I take my console into town, as all the kids are out and about.

I honestly don't understand how the street passes work ;_; like i've had 10 streetpasses maybe more and few of them play acnl but yet I never see any homes in my HH showcase and i don't get those cool item dlcs not sure what i'm doing wrong or am not doing :[

Do you have streetpassing turned on within your NL game? Talk to Digby at the HH showcase to find out. If it is, it's possible that those people you streetpass that play NL don't have it turned on within their game. That's happened to me before. Very frustrating! I figure they are trying to avoid picking up streetpass villagers.

You can also turn on Spotpass in AC:NL if you haven't already, and occasionally you'll get homes that way too. I think you can ask Isabelle about that as you're logging in.

For the DLC, you can sometimes get some from talking to Pelly or Phyllis at the post office ("ask about a present")--though that doesn't seem to be working for many at the moment. For the DLC mentioned in the letters from Nintendo that Pete brings, you've gotta find a Nintendo Zone (many McDonalds have them, for example) and talk to Pelly and Phyllis while you're there (also ask re: present).

To be honest, I just leave my DS on in my bag at work in the shopping centre, and I usually end up with 10+ passes after each shift. It's a great way to gain some passes and earn my badge for it in ACNL!

Never ever have had a streetpass. DSes or rather ACNL doesn't seem to be a thing where I live (Central Europe). So much sadness.

I live in a small town so I barely get any. When 3DS was released I always got one or two when I walked by Gamestop but they seem to have lost interest now... T__T

I don't get a ton, but usually I can get one or two at Target and a few more at the mall. I get the most when I go to a show or something downtown, but that has been kind of a hit or miss lately. I carry both of my 3DSes on me almost all the time, too.

Mostly university. Occasionally I'll get streetpasses at work. It's near a busy street ^^ I'm going to bring my 3DS to Otakon as well! Maybe we'll streetpass each other :3

Shopping centres on Saturdays and on my way to work when I meet foreign students on their journeys on the major London underground stations. Apart from that I get some on a daily basis from my own DSs! The most I ever got was from the Street pass get together/meet up.

Thanks a bunch you guys for replying to my previous post! That helped clarify a lot of things, both my street pass and spot pass are turned on i think i've just havent come across people who have theirs turned on since there are no homes yet in my HH showcase. As for the dlc with pelly yeah unfortunately i haven't been able to receive them because it gives me an error code. So i'm gonna try the mcdonalds thing! Thanks again!
