What is your first language?

English. /boring

In school I studied three languages (German, French, and Spanish) but I'm not particularly confident in any of them anymore. I've only had to use German outside of the school environment and I used to use several Spanish message boards. I've also picked up some Japanese informally due to a large amount of exposure to the language, but only really listening/reading skills and some spoken - no written.

I'd really love to learn Serbian or a northern European language.

Portuguese >.< I'm originally from Portugal but I had to move to England in 2007 bc of my dad's new job.
I speak English (duh. xD) and a tiny bit of French and Spanish. :3

It should be French, but when we moved to South America when I was three I forgot the little French I once knew.

So Spanish kinda became my first language and English second. ^^

My first language is English :) I can speak German, not as fluent as I was 4 years ago but I know basic stuff.

Um. A mix of English and Romanian. I remember having a tough time in early elementary because I didn't know how to say some things.

French is my first language.
I speak english and spanish almost just as well though.

Native language is English, I also know japanese, some spanish, and some russian.

English is my first language. OO! OOh ! ooHHH! I'm also fluent in Raccoon and Camel. I also speak some Japanese and Isle Hurricanian.

Dutch is my first language, but i also speak English and a little German.

My native language is English.

French, Spanish and German were big languages at my school, but I was no good at any of them. I just couldn't do them and, even though teachers were nagging us to take a language for our GCSEs, I ended up dropping them all. I'm self-teaching myself Japanese now and have been for two years, but I find it a whole lot easier than in school.

English is my first language and I'm currently learning Spanish.

Woah, I didn't expect so many people with a native language other than English! I got the idea of making this thread because sometimes I have trouble finding the English translation for some of the items in AC and it's rather annoying >͵< btw, my native language is Spanish and I can speak English, French and a little Japanese c:

English is my first language and I'm learning French (for GCSE at school) and Italian (I'm teaching myself in my free time as a hobby). I used to take Spanish, but I'm not learning it any more so I don't remember much of it.
