What is the most bugs you caught in one round?

I'm interesting to see how unlucky/lucky people can get depending on the layout of their islands!

For me, my island seems to be more open, which allowed me to catch 16 at one point. Lowest being 7. Average 10-12.

Top was 16. The best area for me seemed to be the part that was more open and had some water running through it for the extra water bugs. I usually managed at least 10...

The lowest was 3. There just weren't any bugs anywhere that round... I caught the last one at 10 seconds remaining and I really thought I was actually going to miss the insanely low goal.

Mine’s very cliffy and a lot of the flowers and trees are on the cliffs rather than on the lower level. That makes it kinda tricky. I’d say a good/high number for me is about 8-9, but I’ve caught 0 before because they kept spawning in areas that aren’t accessible.

12! I was in a field of flowers lol. Lowest count so far has been 5.

I think 12 or 13 was my highest, would have gotten a couple more but the locusts kept jumping into rivers

17 is my high score even though I ran through all over my island. Thank goodness so many bugs spawned near each other to help contribute to that high score. The lowest I've gotten is 10.

Wow, I feel like total crap now. I caught 11 last round and thought that was amazing. Yet there are people on here whose lowest is around that. Geez. *despair*

I think my highest was around 18. I was really excited, and hopefully I'm pretty close to that gold trophy!

23!! ive found that having a huge patch of flowers is the easiest way to get lots of bugs. whenever they quit spawning, i just leave the patch for a bit and catch the butterflies and stuff that spawn around it (tho most of the time this is at the end of the match & when i already have 18-20 bugs).

So far there's been like no bugs!! Idk what's up but my current high score is 9 and my lowest was 1.... lmao

Lowest was 8 and highest was 17. I'm currently moving stuff around my island so temporarily dumped all my flowers on the sand and a big patch of land next to it which worked out for this event. Got some rivers nearby too so when the flowers stopped spawning bugs I went to the rivers to catch pondskaters and diving beetles.

12 bugs, only did that once. i think i was able to do 11 too. sometimes there’s a lot, sometimes there’s barely any bugs spawning.
